    This is what i was talking about in the other thread.Usually the check that is sent is for more than what you are selling and they want you to send them the balance.What they arte wanting is for you to cash a bogus check for them.You can have alot of fun with this in you want.Go ahead with the deal except don't ship them anything.Then tell them your threw a party with their money and send them pictures of a dropzone party with titties and beer. .

    As all have said this really sux.I have many great memories of Monroe and the people connected there.What really sux though is there are "laws" in place to keep this from happening and at every turn the DZs across the country are loosing these battles.I know alot of people are sitting there thinking I'm glad it's not my DZ.Yours could be next.It doesn't really matter if the FAA finds that the city was wrong two years after the DZ is forced out.I think maybe a letter writing campain to the FAA to have this looked at is in order.If they are investigating then the action should be put on hold. Ok,thats my rant. .

    Ok kids I need info.How is the weather that time of year?Is everyone camping or are there hotels.Anyone have a tent or RV slot available for me.I really like air conditioning when it's hot at night.

    I finally got around to cleaning out the camper from Dublin(It's still for sale BTW) and I found a 12 pack of Corona in bottles under the dinette table.It was folded down so the beer has been out of the light but I'm sure it was gotten pretty warm in there.How long will Corona keep?Do you think it's any good?Should I just take it to the DZ and see if anyone will drink it? .

    I posted a picture of my bum a lil while ago, the barrage of PM's that followed shocked the living hell out of me! For the most part (in the Bonfire/public view) everyone behaves themselves, but in PM's it's an entirely different story. There were a few gentlemen, but 90% of the PM's were way out of line. I quickly removed the picture because I was creeped out. It is unlikely that I'll ever post photo's again. g How about a PM then. .

    I've said this before.This is not directed at anyone.Until we stop treating the new people like they have some kind of disease and stop forcing them to pay someone to jump with them we are going to continue to loose them.The current system is not working.The new people are not able to jump with the general population,they are not making friends,they are not hanging out after hours.Go to your DZ this weekend and pay attention to the students that are there and then see how many are there when the jumping is over.Hell,see how many of their names you know. .

    By the way folks(Dave this is also not aimed at you) being on a public beach works just like the DZ.The low person has the right of way.Someone on the ground would be the low person.I is your responsibility to not land on the wuffos.At least that's what I was taught. .

    Just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for coming to Destin and supporting the event.Here are the numbers: We had 60 registered plus a few jumpers that didn't come to jump.We put about 10 through water training in the condo pool. We flew 21 Kingair loads with 275 slots including 25 tandems. We cooked 12 pounds of shrimp plus the fixin's on the beach Sat. night. And most importantly we had no injuries,had no one land in the water(except Mickie but it doesn't count when it is after you surf 100ft of beach),and everyone landed where they were supposed to(except for the last load but we found everyone). I guess this dispels the rumor that no one will come to jump the beach in the summer.Keep your eyes on RoamingDZ.com for info on our summer skydive/rafting trip to the mountains and the Mountain Boogie in October. .
