    I bought a $300 ball park airless and have used it several time. It works well. clean it well when you are done and run some oil through it. It's not something you would want to use everyday.

    NOTAMs do not tie up the airspace. It is a Notice To Airman. It does not prevent anyone from flying through the airspace. This is why you should look out the door on jumprun boys and girls. Also if my memory serves me correct I don't believe a NOTAM is required for jump operations. A good idea but I don't think required.
