    Yeah I called a company the other day and the damn call was forwarded to England. Couldn't understand a damn word the person was saying. I finally asked if they had anyone in South Africa I could speak with.

    You don't have to file a NOTAM. You need only to have the land owners permission and talk to ATC. They cancelled the NOTAM for the 4th of July jumps into my yard one year because of some jackass at flight service that didn't know his job. Actually cancelled all of them in the southeast region because they didn't have waivers on file.We jumped all day long and never heard another word about it. Another I did was into a highschool football game. we had permission but that was it.

    Your definition does not necessarily make it a bandit jump. By your definition all of the jumps into my back yard were bandit jumps. Also all of the Destin beach jumps. I have been on a very high profile bandit jump somewhere in the southeast.

    Have you ever heard of the two second rule. 45' is about 1/2 seconds' distance. You should have been at least 150' behind him. What world are you from and where do you do most of your driving. That might work great in bum fuck country or where you live but it will get you no where in places like Atlanta
