    At skydive Atlanta. That's right kids RoamingDZ.com is headed to Skydive Atlanta. It's YardHippies Birthday, It's Jeans 100th jump and best of all the DZO is gone. Who knows what the fuck might happen. I'm taking the RoamingRV just in case I can't makr it home tonight. Looking forward to seeing all of my friends.

    My advice is don't take advice from people with 26 jumps. I have landed 2 canopies with broken steering lines with the rear risers. As someone else posted I hope the post from the 26 jump wonder is a joke.

    I know of some DZ that charge sales tax even though it is not required.How do you think that works out for them?

    I was planning some fucked up dives for this weekend but that had to be changed. As to you OP. There are many issues here. Alot of times it's the organizers rep on the line. If people start saying they suck on DZ.com they won't get invited to other events. Also sometimes you end up with a highly experienced group and you kind of owe it to them to try to make the dives work. Then there is the safety issues. You can really get a bad rep if people start dieing on your dives.I have been to boogies where the organizer had a group together by 9am and that was it. That is no way to organize at a boogie IMO. I do agree with you that alot of DZOs need to address this when they are advertising organizers for whatever discipline.

    If I didn't have this trip up north to get ready for I would come anyway but I stilll have alot of stuff to do and just found out I'm going to need new tires on the front of the motorhome. Thats $600 down the tubes. And people wonder why I ask for donations in exchange for a place to sleep.
