I agree. They can get their demo license directly from the FAA. All they have to do is get an FAA inspector to witness their 10 jumps and have him sign them off. Then the waiver, if any is needed, is from the FAA not USPA. This makes the most sense to me.

Very good question. I have found that most people have nothing to offer and simply want to go see. That part I can't figure out. I'm not a doctor,a first responder and I don't know CPR. Unless there is no one else there or I am asked to do something I will stay out of the way. -

I'm not a parent.I would buy one for my kid if I could afford it. Whether or not you should ask would depend a bit on if it is normal in your family to ask for expensive gifts and if your parents can afford to provide something like that.

That is great!!! Side note on a personal peeve. There are alot of animals running around with no tags and if they get lost the chances of a good outcome are slim. So, if you see someone with an animal with no tags feel free to give them some shit about it.

3rd vote for don't send money till your DZO or rigger has the canopy. Plus, if he is gone and you have showed interest in the item I see no need in you having to insure he holds it for you. I'm not saying the guy is a crook but I would not do business with him if he was not willing to send the canopy to a DZ or a rigger.
