    No offense taken, but thanks for the preemptive apology. He is not psychotic/violent. He has a hot temper, but he cools off as quickly as he gets hot. Then again, do you ever really know what someone is capable of until they are in the context of the situation. Am I sure that he will not become violent towards my mother? 99.9% sure that he won't. But that .1% makes me wonder. To another reply in this thread: No I am not female. My thought is still to try to keep my mom out of this UNLESS he doesn't quit cheating. This is unrealistic thinking. It is not a place you should put yourself. No good will come from you handling this your way.

    Two things wrong with that pic. 1.someone did it 2.the owner of the rig let them do it. I won't throw too big of a rock though. We had someone at Dublin that tagged a rig on the right lift web that had a leg mount throw out. Still,it took two people to let that happen.

    One thing you should know is if they are spending alot of time on your rig they very well may be using it as a training aid. The best thing you can do is stand there and wait for them to ask you questions and make sure they don't pull the reserve handle. I tie mine with a BRIGHT pullup cord so I have time to stop them if I get the moron of the week.

    I know (hope) you are joking but if not, the people that feel the need to show everyone on the airplane or at the airport that they are a skydiver generally will cause us all problems in the future.

    That's what i was going to say. Try the looped end of a hair pin to put pressure around it. Push down on it and then slide the closed end across it. BTW, It's going to hurt.

    To add to everything else that has been said. Alot depends on the canopy. Know what you are doing or someone will be injured or killed.

    No one is questioning whether or not it can be done successfully. The question is should USPA be forced into sanctioning it.
