    Really! I've done my share of aircraft leasing for off DZ jumping. I have a pretty good idea of how much (little) money there is to be made(saved) by leasing an aircraft as opposed to going to a DZ. As I said, It's fun but it's not cheaper. Well unless your friend plans to buy a chopper and give you the flight time.

    Although it is a blast doing off DZ jumps,you're not going to save any money doing chopper jumps as compared to going to a DZ.

    Mike, You are a stand up guy. It's almost like going back to the old days when you didn't have to pay people to jump with the newbies. Maybe someday more people will figure out what is killing the retention and this will catch on.

    It is normal to have green grass over the leach field. That is the most fertile soil in your yard.

    We had ours opened because of a clog when it was about 10 yrs old. We had it pumped just cause it was open but it was not needed. If you don't put alot of stuff in there that shouldn't be (greese,female products,heavy cleaner) it should never fill up. When they pumped mine it had maybe 5 in. of stuff in the bottom. I made sure to show the wife where all that greese she put down the drain went. Broke her of that habit.

    Ummm, I was defending the chopper. Anything used as a trainer or cheap enough to be entry level is going to have a higher incident rate.

    Lots of government funding comes partially from the takeoff and landing count. That's why you see the airports get real nice runways and hangers before they try to get rid of the skydivers.
