4 watts is still max legal for CB. Linear amps are still illegal, but common as all hell. And I was only kidding calling myself a "fucking trucker", I just hate the idiots out there on the radio as bad as Cspencefly. Hey, I could get offended depending how I read that.

That is because your not running a "big radio" I bet you can't even get across the median with that thing and that is why you end up in traffic jams & not going around them...... You need a big radio if you want get out. Get you a peeked & tuned early 80's cobra 29 LTD classic and run two antennas and pass each one through a Texas star DX 500 liner amp (one amp each side) and see how well you get out then, you'll be talking to the space station.... FYI- Resaca Ga. is where you'll find one of the best radio men around, across the street from the flying J is his CB shop and you too can get a big radio. None of that really matters. I can't stand to listen to the fucking truckers for more then 1min37sec.

It's easy to add either a multi plug power point or a 12volt buss to your car. That being said, a CB is a waste of plastic. I have one in the motorhome and the only thing it is good for is finding out why you are stuck in traffic.
