i've read all the English info on Kolomna site (which is not much), but still there are some things i'd like to know: 1. what are the facilities in the bankhouse? is it built and finished already? 2. what opportunities of FF coaching can one have there, and aspecially on the end of May 2006 (same dates as the 80way camp)? 3. what is the weather like at the end of May? 4. when you've visited there - was there anything that you were happy that you had with you (or that you hadn't but you wish you had?) - i mean anything important to bring with you...? any info will help... thanx! Ori. http://www.orikuper.printroom.com -
yeh i know this thread very good... it is a really good one - but i just wanted to know about that 'seems to me like problem' problem - with just one side setting option in the Illusion... thanx! http://www.orikuper.printroom.com

ok, thanx! do you (or anyon else) have a pic of how the helmet sits on the face? i want to see if it looks curved... http://www.orikuper.printroom.com

hi' i used to use a BH Pimpdaddy with a home made camera mounts and it was great. BUT 2 month ago i crashed on a bad landing (surgury and screw in the foot, but i'll be ok). the helmet got deformed and i can't and suggested not to - use it again. i thohght about Optik as my next helmet, and i even put a friend's Optik on the head and if felt great, but i found out that the top base isn't very wide (for a 350D for example). therefore i think now about Illusion, but because i used to close the Pimpdaddy and the Optik almost all way up (as in the attached pic) i'm afraid of not beeing able to set the left side properly my pimpdaddy + optik size is medium (small is too tight). does anyone here had problems like that? do u think i should be worried about that? or is there something i missed while looking on the structure of the Optik?? thanx and Happy Hanuka and Happy New Year everybody! BH pimpdaddy - i think it's the most 'comfortable to use and still light in it's weight' helmet there is... i used it with a homemade camera mount and it was just great!

hi, i once saw here a post of someone who used a cell phone remote for the camera, and i can't find it now. can anyone explain how i do it with a cell phone remote? i tried to put it 'as is' into the camera, and from the moment i turn on the camera it shoots all the time. maybe there is a short i have to cut? or any other changes i have to do in it? any links or link to that old post will help too. i've got this one: http://www.camerahacker.com/RS60-E3_pin-out/pin-out.html but it didn't help me (maybe i just look at the wrong place?) thanx, Ori. http://www.orikuper.printroom.com

any suggestion for wide angle lens (Rebel XT)?
Kuper replied to Kuper's topic in Photography and Video
wow - the price of it sounds very atractive, but i'm affraid of this 'non electric' thing; with infinity focus all the time i might miss something (?) and with no electricity it sounds a camera like D-Rebel might go crazy (i can't believe how i'm afraid of ERR). make sense, or should i cut the bullshit? http://www.orikuper.printroom.com -
any suggestion for wide angle lens (Rebel XT)?
Kuper replied to Kuper's topic in Photography and Video
i'll check those two, but i understood that the prices for Sigma are lower and most of the time the optical quality is even better then the Canon though... and here comes the million dollar Q - will i get ERR99 with the Sigma? well if so - shit!!!!!! I do want to buy a fixed one, by the way. it seems that you don't have to scare about those sticky tapes on the fixed ones... is it so? vdschoor - I noticed you sometimes use even wider lens then the 15 ('fun with fisheye'). you use it a lot? thanx, Ori. PS - and if someone here have a wide lens he doesn't need anymore - please contact me asap... http://www.orikuper.printroom.com -

Competition rules about family realation to the judge
Kuper replied to Kuper's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Now things are getting clear. I think things work different in Israeli then they do here in the U.S. that is the problem! it doesn't have to be diffrent! we want to make the sport's situation better here, and to bring it to an international level, and though we still have sometimes those 'tiny' problems... the fact that it's in Israel or any other place in the world, doesn't have to affect normal judgement rules. my opinion... http://www.orikuper.printroom.com -

Competition rules about family realation to the judge
Kuper replied to Kuper's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
yup, and yup. and he is also the father of 2 of the competitors. that's why for next year the association wants to bring or add another international judge (and i want them to set a rule about that father judge...). http://www.orikuper.printroom.com -
hmmm.... that happend to a friend of mine 2 weeks ago. we were in a 8W track dive, and there were few guys how were 'left behind and under'. while breaking off, you can see in my friend's camra that he was tracking away off heading (god know why), makes a barrel roll, and 1 sec after seeing an opend canopy near him - while still flying. just after 3 days of searching, the canopy man told us it was him there. me and my friend think it happend because of one or more of these reasons: 1. the lower man didn't track aside, and just pulled behind us. 2. i think my friend SHOULDN'T have done an OFF HEADING track. we were just 8... there wasn't any good reason for that! tell me what you think about it... 3. my friend as a skydiver with 260 jumps should have seen the opend canopy few secs earlier... anyway - it looks (and felt for him) scary. there were just 3 frames of the nearby canopy - attached is the 2nd of those 3. remember it's still during tracking off time... i'd like to hear more of your thoughts in that issue. it's getting even more important when you want to take people who doesn't have the same level to those track dives (as same as we did). thanx, Ori. http://www.orikuper.printroom.com

Competition rules about family realation to the judge
Kuper replied to Kuper's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
yeh... that's what i thought before the nationals, but was in shock after they told me that the judge's son got the 2nd place. most of the people who watched his jumps (before the judgment), and me among them said it wasn't good... plus the fact that there was only 1 judge - and here we got the result. i got the 3rd, by the way - and i really like the son, but he was bad... it was 2 month ago, and we kind of forgot it. but i don't want anyone to be hurt next years. that's why i asked... http://www.orikuper.printroom.com -
yeh, i guess that's right. i thought about put there a material like clay, that make itself hard - in order to make all that back more smooth... i just didn't do it yet http://www.orikuper.printroom.com
