Wow! They are really pathetic! Now let me ask you this. I am a newbie to the BASE community, I’m only 21 so I am not up on a lot of the History. Where did the problems between NPS and jumpers really start? I can see why BASE jumpers hate NPS because they obviously are bastards. (Arrests, harsh discriminatory policy, and a major example of what we are dealing with right now) But what did BASE jumpers ever do to the NPS to receive such harsh prejudice? Why do they hate us so much? D

How much more support do you foresee us receiving from the federal level. Do they seam pretty apt to help us or are they more hesitant to get involved?

I saw a post about this a while ago and actually saw something on TV about it. Below is the link for the exact once I saw (Its on the same site at HOPE that Tom posted). Worked by static line and was very easy to put on and operate from the instruction giving on the tv program. Packing Question Part 2 Thanks everyone with helping me on slider up packing options. Now that I have decided the method I will be using I have another quick question. While packing, do you quarter your slider before you lay it down or do you bring it up before you start to make all your folds. I would think bring it after would be better so you can see everything but it might disturb everything you neatened up if you do it after. Any input would be great. Thanks D

I'm a newbie BASE jumper but I can give one piece of info. I recently purchase and received my new gear. I was going to buy a dagger but changed to a FLik because Apex told me the canopy could not be vented. They said if you plan to do sub 200 jumps they advised me to go with a FLik or fox which can be vented. Anything thing else I have no input for ya. Edited for Spelling.

I spoke with Tom A because a little while ago becuase I was looking at going out next week. He said first snow usually comes around the beginning of november and from what he said it will probably not be very nice for camping in december. I'm sure you could jump but you might wanna get a hotel and you'll probably have to deal with a little snow. D

I'm sure they run it a lot on that channel. I was only watching for about 15 minutes and caught it. Its a smart channel to have it on, that or OLN. D

For those of you who have had the pleasure of jumping in another country like Sweden, Switzerland, or Norway, ect. I’ve got some questions for ya! Minus a plane ticket, what would be a ballpark cost for your trip there? What time span did you spend there? How many places are there to jump? And so on and so on. Also if you have been to multiple places, what was your favorite country? I’d really like to make a trip overseas sometime in the next year or so and I’ve heard there are some really good location but I’m not sure where I would go. I’m a student at the moment so if I made a trip I’d have to make the best of it because I won’t be going again for a while. Thanks David Note: Before I do go over seas I will definitally have over 50 or so. I'm going to Twin Falls next year so I'll get quite a few then.

Yea thats probably not to good but the pictures are quite old. There is a car in my court on GE that hasn't been there in a loooong time. I don't how often they are updated but everything I have seen is old.
