How many people actually did thier 100th jump naked? (or in Le Roy's case the jump that you were able to do your "100th jump")

Good Luck guys! Heck yea! I had the honor of flying with them at the Guano Boogie in Orange, VA. Very nice guys and super bad ass. 6 one-on-one coach jumps, 2 flocking dives and 2 HD big ways. Its was a great weekend!

I’m going to be starting wingsuit flying soon and I’m trying to decide which suit to buy. I’m a beginner but I’m not starting on a Classic or prodigy. I’ve jumped a friends GTI with no problem and from the looks the Phantom and GTI are the two suits of the same class and level of experience. Thoughts on which suit performs better?

I just went to pack my chute tonight and found a souvenir in my canopy from Bridge day. A nice 2 * 1 ½ inch rock from the landing area. I laid down my canopy and as I was flacking it and getting a little air out of the nose and felt a bulge. I was like WTF! Had a good laugh when I found out what it was. So anyone else find anything interesting in their canopies after a jump?

Was Jeb at BD last year? I know he wasn’t there this year….right? And while I’m at it, anyone hear anything new on his wingsuit landing attempt. (yea I know wrong forum. If no one knows I’ll post it in the wingsuit forum)

Yea it’s definitely going to be freefall able. An article in the paper said it will be around 450 feet. With 35 stories listed and the pictures on a website I’d say its has 36 floors (35 of them are living spaces). Then there is a structure on the top but it doesn’t look too big so I’m guessing from the roof it will be around 370-400. The different floors may also be different heights too because the top floors are going to be penthouse suites and middle ones are much smaller apartments. Yea I was looking into getting a laser. I went and got one of those cheap golf range finders but it was a POS so I returned it. Yea Jaap, that would be a good thing to add. If you already have a good deal of info it would save me some time. I’ve been busy as a bizotch! The building is also going to have a park on one side and a garage on the other so landing areas are looking very positive at the moment as long as they don’t change anything between now and when they build it. Yea I definitely need to get a laser or something. There is a 17 story building I’m looking at also. Very open landing area but it would obviously have to be a static line or PCA. Its pretty low! What is the lowest height for a safe Static line and/or PCA. An experience jumper I jumped with said people do static lines off an object that is 170 feet. I did PCA’s from the same object at 265.

What is the average height per floor for buildings? I am looking at a 35 story building but the numbers aren't matching up to the website. It’s between 10 and 12 feet per floor correct??

So does this mean that after careful review and confirmation that there is nothing “sneaky” and if the document is accepted, if I go to El Cap and make a jump there is nothing they can detain me on? Or do the laws of aerial delivery and what not still apply regardless to the fact that the previous statements prohibiting parachuting or jumping in nation parks has been eliminated from the NPS Management Policies? What are the main charges that BASE jumpers are held on for BCP in a national park? What gives the NPS the ability to fine BASE jumpers the large dollar amount and confiscation of gear? Was that all under the previously expunged 8.2.2.4 policy? Edited for spelling

I always thought first BASE was best with a Wingsuit (no prior experience), big wall, and a few hits of acid. Then it may not be a solo either because you’ll be tracking with some flying penguins or maybe even Big Bird! That’s the best way to go! On a serious note, Yea TF or BD would be my picks for first BASE. I did mine at BD last year and glad I did cause I went way head low! You go where you look! (at least at first)

Hehe, I was packing fast! But a buddy wanted to get video from the landing area so that burned up some time. Didn't make my last jump till 2:30ish so it would have been close. I wasn't aware the line died. When I exited my second jump the line was really long still. I was thinking about doing an unpacked jump but it was way to windy. Edited to add: I'll be at TF Memorial Day. Didn't have the money or the time last year. In addition to my great jumps I wanted to say it was a pleasure meeting so many of you I talk to and see on the board. Just to name a few: Jaap, Nick DG (an honor), Jimmy H. and many more. Very good point! But damn its just such a nice object its a shame to travel so far and spend the money to only get 1 or 2 jumps. At least 3 would have been nice.
