At 1.4 or above there will be more internal pressure and the crossports can do thier thing more effectively. The nose will also 'accept' more air with a higher wing loading. "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will see peace." - 'Jimi' Hendrix

You are most certinly wrong about that; ag·nos·ti·cism [ag-nos-tuh-siz-uhm] –noun 1. the doctrine or belief of an agnostic. 2. an intellectual doctrine or attitude affirming the uncertainty of all claims to ultimate knowledge. I do agree that the faithful are dependant on what is made up. At least athiest use more intellectual information for thier standpoint, but thier conclusion still ignores what is not known. What is made up is a conclusion all the same, be it incorrect or not. I don't depend on the un-known, I respect it, I have no conclusion other than we will likely never know. What I can conclude is that you don;t know everything, and will never do so. You conclusions exclude things you do not know, that is ignorant. My connection is too slow to wait for you tube to load at the moment, so I can't watch you wee clip at the mo. If you think that you can be 100% certain of the origin of life then you are clearly mistaken or a complete idiot, which is it? There is a minimum reccomended wingloading on a crossfire of 1.4 I have seen a girl have a collapse at about 100feet due to wake tubulance on a crossfire loaded at 1.1 or so. The side that collapsed did not reinflate and the other side kept flying resulting in a very agressive turn which broke her Tib and Fib stabbing the bone into the dirt. I have flown a Crossfire loaded at 1.8 and have had it collapse in windsheer turbulance (up high) and it reinflated just fine as most parachues will. I would not reccomend jumping an underloaded crossfire in any significant turbulance which includes flying close to other parachutes. On the other hand I highly recommend an appropriately loaded crossfire as my crossfire 109 was probably the most versatile and reliable canopy I have ever owned. The minimum recommended wingloading exists for a reason. "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will see peace." - 'Jimi' Hendrix

I see you adding disclamers now to try to validate your point. Life is life, and if it is a billion light years away and existed a billion years ago, it is/was still life. We were talking about the origin of life and to say for sure that there is no correlation between life elsewhere and life here. While being sure (I am not but you have said that you were)that there is actually life elsewhere is idiotic in my mind. But it is your freedom and mine to think what we like. We may never know for sure whether life exists or had existed elsewhere, that is why it is more sensible to be Agnostic. Atheists and the faithful are too dependent on what is known, while ignoring what isn't. "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will see peace." - 'Jimi' Hendrix -

For fucks sake, what a cunt of a place you must live in. I don't lock my doors, I leave my keys in my car when parked in town, we all say hi when we walk past each other in the street. I admit it is not like this in the citys here but I am sure glad I live the way I do and the only want I have for a gun is to put meat in the freezer. The caravan that I was jumping out of before returning home had a sausage made of cordura stuffed with foam or dacron etc. It was attached to the aircraft via a lanyard and was wedged between the door and the bar that runs along the top there. It was very easily removed via the lanyard by at least half of the people on the load. A blanket sounds half assed to me. So you beleive life 'definately exists' elsewhere. But you consider the origin of life to pertain only to that on earth?? Life is life, how is life elsewhere not life. when we talk about the origin of life, we have to consider what we do not know. Something you seem to be having difficulty understanding, i surprises me that you are so certain that life exists elsewhere but you think the origin of life is only pertinant to life on earth. bizzare. So because nothing has been found in the last couple of hundred years on objects that have arrived from other realms of the universe, means that tere is not any possiblity that it has done so in the last hundred million or more? You continue to ignore that things you do not know, exist, or existed... yeah, Space is full of ice and our atmosphere is constantly being bombarded with it. when you say our life, it that as opposed to other life? you say that as you are so certain, there is no point in arguing with someone that assumes they know everything there is to know. no, you are assuming life = life on earth. Your simple mistake is to assume/imply that life was created on earth, I am not talking about the origin of 'life on earth', I am talking about the origin of life, Period. So what? So There is a distinct possibility that the origin of life on earth came from elsewhere than earth. Just like the water in our oceans. The big bang 'may' have been an inversion of something else, it is possible that life existed before the big bang, that is if the big bang theory is actually correct. It is all just theory, exept you treat is as fact. and this takes me back to the assertion that athiests are as arrogant as the 'faithful' as they assume that what they believe is actually what happened. O.k. now we are talking, so what is to say that the earth was not formed after life existed elsewhere, and somehow or another through and event such as a supernova, that life has be delivered to earth via a particle of ice etc etc. ? If you can beleive that life exists elsewhere, then why should that life have been created at the same time or after as life on earth? time scales are infinate. I understand our earth would have taken millions of tears to be ready to harbour life, but there may have been planets or moons etc, that have done so or did so for aeons earlier. do you get where I am coing from now? No you are confusing Life on earth, to life in general. My argument is that there was probably life elsewhere before there was on earth. When we talk about the origin of 'life', we have to consider what we do not know. 'Life on earth' does not necessarily represent 'life in general'. I hope you can understand that. Point taken but it does say in the bible as bill pointed out; So I guess I should change my statement from; All christians beleive... to; It states clearly in the bible that... While Amazon mocks me unapropriately in the gear and rigging forum for pondering the presence of thermite in the WTC a subject that has peer reviewed journals by respected scientists, that have yet to be refuted by anyone. We are expected to believe this drivel about the creation of life and even have to swear upon in in a court of law. This world is seriously a fucked up place, common sense certainly does not prevail. Majority rules, and the majority are to apathetic to want to know the truth (I am talking about religon not 9/11). This God thing is seriously the biggest crock of shit we have ever been lead to beleive. It is quite evident, but the want to belong seems much more powerful than the need to know the truth. This is the case for amny things. "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will see peace." - 'Jimi' Hendrix -
My first 2 rigs held everything from my 200 maveric to a jvx 84. One was an old racer with no riser covers and one was a vector 3. Some people feel the need to have a plethora of rigs, but this is not necessary. Is that some sort of peer pressure? take it where it belongs. Those words 'on this planet' think about that for a second. You seem to be assuming that it is most definate that only earth has life 'or' earth was the first to habour life 'or' life on earth was 100% fomed and created on earth. Our atmosphere is constanly being bombarded with 'substance' from other realms of our universe. Who are you to say the origin of life on earth did not exist for aeons elsewhere? Or are you so sure that Earth is the only object that harbours life? You seem to be fixated on what you know while completely dismissing what you don't. I feel music around aircraft, under parachute, and in the landing area could be a hazard, simply hearing "hey watch out" could save your life. I am not totally opposed to people using them, but I have not felt the need to use them. The same goes when I am snowboarding. many people use them without consequence but that one time... There are various situations where they may impede your ability to protect yourself from danger. Standing on the landing area stowing your toggles at an otter DZ for example, you can look but that "hey watch out' is like having eyes in the back of your head. People do the darndest things. I have seen people taken out when they were aware the danger was coming, if you don't have a chance to evade or protect your head, then you might just be a statistic. Good on ya, It is great to see more and more female TI's. How tall are you? I know a female strong TI, she is about your weight but quite short, she lost her toggles one time and couldn't retrieve them as the forward speed of the canopy made them fly back too far and high for her to retrieve them. My wife is shorter than her but uses sigma, she can sometimes collapse the slider as the MLW is adjustable on sigma. If you are not short it should not be a problem but if you are it is something to ponder. "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will see peace." - 'Jimi' Hendrix

I have never been what I would call pissed off, dissapointed and frustrated yes but not pissed off. We all have our own opinions and thoughts. And having read the crap they have to deal with on a daily basis, I am more likely to feel sorry for them. When I have been banned, i have been banned because I broke the rules, a coulple of time I knew I would likely get banned but waned to get out what I said. I respect the mods, they have a rather difficult job especially with you wankers. "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will see peace." - 'Jimi' Hendrix

So how is existence not the origin of life? Or do you suggest the life came before existence? We are carbon life forms, we are made of existence. Once we die that carbon is recyled into something else. we are one with existence and life is nothing without it. Do you beleive that human beings were created before all other flora and fauna by the hands of god? The difference is that I am open to suggestion, the suggestion just needs to make sence. That is not arrogance, It is assertive. there is a distinct difference. That is pretty clear cut for christians etc, but can you explain what your interpretation of the origin of existance is from an athiest point of view. the same probelm lies for christians and athiests as far as I can see for the faihfull, the queston is what was there before god? And for athiests, what was there before the big bang. I can fathom the inception of our universe from a single point, but I cannot fathom the existance of nothing at all before that. Even an empty space is something. That is the missing link and the athiest scientists can go back to them moment after the big bang. but what of before? If you are trying to say that I believe I have found a way to be superior to both. then I think you are wrong. I beleive we are all equal. Both Christians and Atheists say they know that there was or was not an origin origin to life respectively. I say I don't know, this is putting myself in an inferior, but honest position. I cannot speak for the whole world but I was raised as athiest, I did some religous studies at school, and thorugh observation have decided that to be athiest is as blind and closed minded as it is to beleive in the presented religons. Both athiests and those of 'Faith' are as arrogant as each other to assume that all is known that could be, and that humans are capable of understanding everything, we are not. There is much more to existance than humans, earth, our solar system and our galaxy. Extending beyond our universe is unknown and delving into spirituality, the extent of sprituality and what makes us 'tick' will likely never be known. Other than that we are simply structures of carbon. The unknown dwarfs the known infinantly. To ignore the unkown is simple arrogance. I disagree, an Athiest simply says there is no god, while an Agnostic will ponder the thought of how it all came together. My beleifs are simple, that human beings are not the reason everything exists. I am fortunate enough to live in a relatively untouched environment with ample evidence that 'other' Fauna and Flora has existed for millions of years before humans, and will do so for millions of years after. We have moraine walls everywhere from ancient ice ages, striations of solid rock classifying ancient times and flora and fauna that has remained relatively unchanged for millions of years. Those of faith have all this too, but are not directed to look for it. Among this we have strong evidence for evolution. Plate techtonics are constantly shaping and changng our regons along with erosion and sediment. As an agnostic I often wonder about the origins of life and existance, but it is quite simple and easy to dismiss the arrogant and ignorant beliefs of the most common faiths that human beings are the be all and end all, and the reason for existance in the forst place. I don't feel the need to be so important that everything is here for me to use/abuse, but I can see the appeal in thinking that way. Peer pressure seems to be the main catylist in determining ones beliefs. Like Nightingale being surrounded by catholics and different realms of christianity all her life, being is belonging. It is more difficult to be an outcast with opposing thoughts, and we as humans will usually just go with the flow. Not I. If God is so diving he would not hide behind fables and riddles, he would be in your face. I don't like the term God, but I truly belive in a spiritual existance over and above carbon structures. We are one with nature, just the religous bigots refuse to acknowledge that. We are animal and many will feel insulted by being considered and animal, I find it rewarding, It is my sence of belonging.we are one with nature but we do not seem to respect it enough to allow our future relatives to have the same pleasure we do. This comes back to arrogance Fables and stories focused on human social structure are simply ludercrous, when explaing the origin of life. Humans are so arrogant. Meanwhile we destroy more than we will ever be aware of. "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will see peace." - 'Jimi' Hendrix -
Once again your ignorance is astounding. [Hint] do you teach your fellow mexicans the crap you drivel? You ignore very simple things, you are simply not worth engaging in conversation with. There has been plenty of people over the years simply asking questions only to be ridiculed by those of your ilk,for asking questions. If one asks a question they are a tin foil hatter, a twoofer, a nut job... basically peer pressure. "you're either with us or you're with the terrorists". You can sit in you gun club and polish your tools thinking you represent a majority, when the truth is the majority are to unaware to beleive either way. You sit there and revel in you self proclaimed greatness, meanwhile I will go about my business. that is all.
