  1. He's crazy, she's evil. What else is new?
  2. If it's important, please reiterate. I most certainly could not restate it.
  3. He used AOL for personal email. He repeated the nonsense he was fed regarding WMDs. BTW, if having WMDs constitutes a casus belli for a preemptive attack, we're screwed.
  4. But does it? Who the fuck cares? He already indicates it matches his original belief, so it must be true. And now the Trump foundation is under investigation. But that is just politics, Clinton is a criminal. America has collectively lost it mind. Brexit fever is contagious. Okay, so Trump and both Clintons are sleazy sociopaths, and only an idiot would trust any of them. If one side points out what scum is the other side, I could not agree more. I am not sticking up for either. The enemy of my enemy is often every bit as bad - or worse. This election if rather a matter of 'name your poison.' Right. Which doesn't address the point made at all. That's okay - I missed it entirely.

  6. Yes, I guess you are correct in the absolute term of nihilism. However, in a post-modern spiritual description it pertains mostly to the void when you reject a God. Morality without foundations is worthless. Foundations are often inherited, acquired or conformed to. As an example, consensus morality leverages many unjust laws, who are taken advantage of by those who know the best. Who is to say that something is more "moral" than anything else? We reach a certain moral foundation based upon time and when we try to whittle this away ASAP, we crack. The longer I live; the more lives I deal with; the more things I see happening, the more I think there is nothing BUT divinity around us. Morals have nothing to do with this; mysticism has nothing to do with it and certainly no energy field. Religion is but mental malware, a communicable form of psychosis. Like the biological variant, the pathology of various strains of psychocybernetic viruses varies greatly, from relatively benign to the positively lethal. In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is not king - he's a pariah.
  7. Somehow I took the corruption of the Foundation to be rather a given. Some pundit or another reported that the balance sheet showed some $9 million going to actual charity recipients from over $150 million received. Of the moneys spent, it was largely mismanaged to the point of futility; apparently all the efforts at relief in Haiti, for example, had zero net benefit for those in desperate need. The tenor of a charity run by a pair of Ivy League lawyers turned politicians (of any stripe) is predictable. The Foundation is corrupt. Dog bites man. What else is new?
  8. 'Phenomena' and 'agenda' are the plurals of 'phenomenon' and 'agendum' respectively.
  9. Since prostitution is a recent phenomenon, I say they should keep it illegal to nip it in the bud.
  10. I know the source is viewed as being as suspect as wtfsupwiththat.com, but the points in this article are well made. Wilson became an invalid during his tenure, and his wife took over, so I suppose we might wind up with a third term of Bill if Hillary goes gork after the inauguration. Frankly, I suspect that having either candidate get sworn in and be rendered a drooling vegetable immediately thereafter is preferable to having either sociopathic piece of shit in charge with their full faculties available. Whatever is the outcome to this election, we are hosed big time. BSBD, Winsor
  11. Achievement? Such as? I like Ming the Merciless as the Democrat and Darth Vader as the Republican. That is, of course, giving both candidates far too much credit...
  12. That is capitalism. Always amazes me when I see staunch republicans complain about capitalism. Again, stop blaming other people and fix your own issues. If capitalism was at work, the Weekly World News would still be in business. That was the only news outlet that would publish which presidential candidate was supported by Space (not illegal, mind you) Aliens. Now we are stuck with Rasmussen and Gallup for prognostications.
  13. Thanks. We are under attack but it is spiritual and we know how to focus and fight. As far as DJL's fantasy goes, we believe that when SHTF occurs the inner city rats will kill each other off. They are not likely to reach the city limits. As the food supply runs low they will fight for candy bars. "The inner city rats" I'm embarrassed for you. Agreed. Rats have a lot more to offer. Researchers have taken to using attorneys in their experiments. It turns out that they were too likely to develop attachment to rats, and there are things even a rat won't do.
  14. "Not a speck of cereal!" What? Disregard, that's 'Alpo."
  15. Subtle distinction? Bullshit. It's a double standard by any measure, and odious any way you cut it. Racism is racism. If you want to pick and choose between 'good' racism and 'bad' racism, don't be surprised if opinions vary on the line of demarcation. I say it's all evil, as are people who support it.
  16. Yup, the loss in respect comes when discussing why so many Americans severely dislike Obama and how it leads to people like Trump becoming viable candidates. And yet, Hillary is running against the only candidate she can possibly beat. What does that say about her and the other side of the same damn coin? Yeah, when I said that I'd vote for Charlie Manson before I'd vote for Hillary, it didn't occur to me that they could and would up the ante.
  17. My vote would be for Pat Paulsen.
  18. Wrong. The subtext of the recommendation not to indict was not that there was no criminality, but that it was not worth prosecuting her. Big difference. So Trump is a douchebag as well. That does not make Hillary one iota less odious.
  19. News flash - you brilliant youngsters are royally fucked either way. I think it's cute that you think that youth is any match for the issues we face as a species. Mankind is in the midst of a systemic disaster, and climate change is only a minor symptom - kinda like running a temperature when one has the Black Plague. BTW, I'll happily put my credentials against yours, given your previous diatribe on what qualifies one to an opinion. Then again, I never did finish High School...
  20. What's your point? That people bitched, whined, and moaned about the FBI not finding anything actionable enough to prosecute and went further to accuse Comey of selling out and demanded to see this. Go ahead, take a gander at it and see if you can find what what she should be prosecuted for in it. Go for it. From what shows up in the Cliff's Notes version she should be in Leavenworth. Legal experts who have reviewed the documents did not come to this conclusion. How did you? I have a cousin who's an Expert in Toledo.

Again, your point (unless it's to 'baffle them with bullshit)?
  22. They should pick a song that's about how wonderful the country is - not the flag.
