I hate to break it to you, but the kind of people who would actively support Hillary either do not care or support everything in the leaks. There is absolutely nothing contained therein that is the slightest bit surprising, or varies at all with the Clinton modus operandi. Trump is a consummate schmuck and Clinton is an evil parasite. The choice is yours. Mind you, there also was a time when Americans didn't blindly believe what the Russians told them. But I guess the times, they are changing. That was before the Russians said things on the internet, and thus things might possibly be at least a little bit wrong. Now things are automatically fact checked, which saves an awful lot of time and effort on our part.

FIFY As far as you can tell.

3 Arrested for planning attacks using weapons of mass destruction
winsor replied to PhreeZone's topic in Speakers Corner
No argument from me there. I'd even go further and it's not just the government, but also private industry. Fear "sells." In some respects it's just capitalism, but in others it's pretty f'ed up. Agreed. Some people simply aren't "happy" unless they have something to be afraid of. Muslims, immigrants, homosexuals/transgenders (flip side - guns, climate change religious totalitarianism), and on and on. Some of the fears are not totally out of line, but they are blown completely out of proportion. Take terrorism for example. The chances of a US citizen being killed by a terrorist (of any kind, not just Muslim) are infinitesimal. Being killed in a car crash has about a 1 in 10,000 chance in a given year. Which one are people afraid of? Terrorists or texters? "Texting is Terrorism!!!!" "Whiskey is a WMD!!!!" -
The fact that the claims from those within the Beltway are the stuff of fantasy is not at all newsworthy. Politicians Lie! Dog Bites Man! Yawn.

Threatening to shoot the kids on your lawn is a bad idea...Pastor

It would have been okay if he displayed a Nikon. Smith & Wesson? He just flunked the IQ test. -
On the topic of "uninformed", it's "etc.", not "ect". That stands for "ectoplasm, ectoplasm, ectoplasm..."

Since she's an attorney by training it follows that she is mathematically illiterate, so I do not sweat her accounting skills either way. My concern is that she is an evil piece of shit whose goal would seem to be to make Dick Nixon look like a study in honesty and decency by comparison.

As far as Hillary being a 'moderate,' look at her track record in College - before going under the radar after graduation. Again, I equate being an avowed Marxist/Communist as being on a par with sexual attraction to barnyard animals. If either EVER seemed appealing, claims to have 'gotten over it' fall on deaf ears. When I read Marx, Lenin et al. those many years ago, I concluded that anyone who could buy into this has something severely wrong with them. Going to various Socialist Workers' Paradises thereafter only strengthened that conviction. You could call Hillary a variety of things, but 'moderate' would be one of the least accurate.

By that standard, neither candidate would appear to have the edge. Hillary has earned a reputation as an evil human being for those in her employ, and being assigned to her was viewed as punishment by the Secret Service (who dubbed her aircraft "Broomstick One"). Trump is an undisputed gonif when doing business, and is a complete schmuck in public. Oddly enough, people have voiced admiration for his treatment of them when nobody was looking. I view both of them as being consummate assholes, but Hillary is an unrepentant parasite from the word go.

Figuring 10g/round, that comes to like 200 cases of 1,000 rounds of 5.56x45mm ammo. [/QUOTE] US Army Advanced Marksmanship Unit member PFC Kattie Harris answered "how often do you practice" with “Monday through Friday, 0900 to 1630. We will shoot 1000 rounds per day, and our training intensifies two weeks before a match to prepare us for them.” 5000 rounds a week, 20,000 rounds a month. An avid amateur could go through that cache by the time we recover from the Panics of 2016. Agreed. Shooting Skeet with a 12 ga., 200 rounds per evening is plenty of recoil. Shooting a .338 Lapua for long range work, 50 rounds will take some time for rest and recovery. The 5.56/.223 is more along the lines of a video game that requires earplugs. I don't think I have ever emptied that many mags in one sitting, but it strikes me as being less intimidating than burning up a box of 20 .460 Weatherbys. The Weatherby is much more fun, all things being considered. Detonating bowling balls is a scream. BSBD, Winsor

When it became apparent that HRC had her sights on the Oval Office back in the '90s, I swore I'd vote for Charlie Manson if it would keep her out of office. Little did I know I'd be called on it.

Arithmetic, my good man. Less than 100 million pay taxes, and owing on the high side of $19 trillion puts it close to $200k per person actually paying into the system. Again, arithmetic comes into play. We're down from our peak of 21 million BBL a day consumed, and up from our minimum production of 4.7 million BBL a day, but we still require roughly double what we actually produce. If we ever have to be self-sustaining for one reason or another, we're fucked. Please understand that the principle of "I can't be out of money - I still have more checks!" is a joke - unless you're the Fed, and then it's policy. The problem is that any Ponzi Scheme has an inevitable conclusion. Good for you. I've lived in too many places where their fiat currency reverted to its inherent value (zero), and am keenly aware of what thin ice it is on which we find ourselves. I could be wrong, but I'm not. (apologies to Felder, Henley, Frey & Souther)

An unarmed Cape Buffalo vs. a .375 Holland is not exactly fair - Mbogo has the edge. If somebody full of PCP was pounding my head on the pavement, I would be extremely grateful to anyone who calmed them down with an intracranial injection of 230 grains of lead. After all, the chemical imbalance that results in violence has been identified as a lead deficiency.

Latest person to be shot and killed by a toddler
winsor replied to jclalor's topic in Speakers Corner
These ghastly stories are, indeed, all too common. Even more common is cases of people who leave kids in parked cars when it's 110 F in the shade. The common theme is that stupid people shouldn't breed in the first place. -
this is perfect I'd also like a runny tally that counts up how many responses are negative about the 'other guy' and how many are positive about their own campaign I say they should work it out in the Arena. If neither one succeeds in killing the other, turn loose the lions and find new candidates. Pay Per View should cover most of the costs of the election.

And another one decides: For only the third time in the publication’s more than 150-year history, The Atlantic has endorsed a presidential candidate, calling Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton “among the most prepared candidates ever to seek the presidency.” http://www.politico.com/blogs/on-media/2016/10/the-atlantic-endorses-hillary-clinton-for-president-229209 Jerry Baumchen It was, IMO, just a lukewarm endorsement of Clinton but more a scathing repudiation of Trump. This election cycle has less to recommend it than would one that featured Charlie Manson running against Bernie Madoff. It's like the saw about the Special Olympics. "You may have won, but you're still retarded."

Let's see. The U.S. Gov't is in debt to the tune of $200,000+ per taxpayer and paying its operating expenses entirely with loans. The vast energy resources that enabled our culture (such as it is) to flourish have been squandered, and what is left is much harder to access. Luckily, our Green Stamps are still accepted by people who make up the shortfall. The manufacturing capability that was described as a "sleeping giant" by Yamamoto when dormant during the '30s no longer exists, having largely been exported. An industry has been doing gangbuster business moving entire factories to other continents. We have cleverly instituted one-way trade agreements where we underwrite the import of goods and services from countries with prohibitive barriers to the import of goods and services from us. We have institutionalized poverty to the extent that it is one of our few growth industries. If you are going to send your kids to Stanford or Yale, you have one or two. If your kids won't make it out of High School, you have ten (by various fathers), and the kids represent a cash crop. The U.S. is a net importer of food, and a great deal of land under cultivation is dependent upon such water sources as the Ogallala Aquifer (which takes as little as 10,000 years to replenish). We're doing so well that I flinch at the prospect of much more improvement. It was fun while it lasted. BSBD, Winsor

Yup, the easy availability south of us increases availability north of the border. People I know who have firearm collections tend to have them in VERY SERIOUS safes - some of which would make a banker envious. FWIW, what I recommend keeping by the bed is an insanely powerful flashlight. That way you only have to deal with someone who is pissed off for being temporarily blinded if you use it against someone who has no sinister purpose. You also don't need earplugs. BSBD, Winsor

If I'm supposed to get your entire argument from three words ("Ask Tawana Bradley"), then perhaps English Composition 101 might help you more. If you think that's an example of a false flag operation, perhaps you also need help on your vocabulary. If your aunt had balls, she'd be your uncle.

If you would like to be in a country based on Christianity, move up here to Canada. The Queen of England is our Head of State, and also The Defender of the Faith. You poor Americans lost your direct connection to the Lord when you rejected the Monarchy. The Queen rules by the grace of God. Your country explicitly rejected God in your selfish rebellion against all that is natural according to God's law. You are all seditious traitors to both God and country. Rats! You're on to us!

Not as far as you could tell. Try 'Reading Skills 101.' It will do you wonders. If you see a Racist (tm) wearing KKK regalia, it is not always what it seems.

Ah, the old unsupported "false flag" claim. Great way to dismiss the issues. Remember Sandy Hook was claimed by some to be a false flag operation perpetrated by Obama to grab our guns. Much more likely that these actions were legitimate examples of hatred. Tawana Brawley agrees with you.

Was this done by "Thugs"? it wold seem to fit the definition thug THəɡ/ noun 1. a violent person, especially a criminal. synonyms: ruffian, hooligan, vandal, hoodlum, gangster, villain, criminal; I would not be surprised if either the 'kill white people' or school vandalism were false flag activities. Doing bad things in the name of those you intend to vilify is a rather common practice.
