If, and it’s a big if, Tom determines those 3 TiSb particles are actually alloys and not random fuzzballs, then it’s really going to be difficult to claim this is a random conglomeration of chemicals and elements. A non-commercial Ti(highSb) alloy shouldn’t be on anyone’s clothing in the tie era.

And here I was thinking that Jo's ramblings on the DZ would never be beaten.
-
Yeah I was misremembering Rat actually seeing them. Seems it was just mentioned in the debrief.
-
Here is the snippet of Rat discussing it FullSizeRender.MOV

No, I'm saying you don't have to hit vital organs to die of a gaping chest wound. Massive blood loss and your body going into shock is often fatal. Is Nick O'Hara a sleazy and unscrupulous individual? Sure seems so. Regardless, that is a devastating wound.
-
Being shot point blank anywhere in the chest with 12 gauge buckshot is not survivable. That may have been the dumbest scene in the whole movie and that includes the faux-chute scene.
-
The ICS matchbook stuff comes from Tina in Tosaw and maybe I dreamed it, but I swear I heard Rat in an interview talking about it as well. It may have been in that 2 hour speech he gave at the NWO Museum. Again, I could have dreamt that, so don't take my word for it.
-
Try again, Dan!
-
New Gryder doc out. Has this dude ever read a 302? We know exactly what chutes he was given and they weren’t modified. He’s talking some nonsense about the ripcord being on the right side.
-
Same assessment on my end. I think the Army document is a fake. The Air Force one is legit.
-
So according to those docs he was active duty Army Special Forces and in the Air Force Reserve simultaneously?
-
I think I'm starting to see a possible pattern emerge here. 3 things that we can't find coming from the mouth of a witness yet Ralph seemed to repeat a bunch. This is from NORJAK where a woman called Ralph up shortly after the hijacking and described a Dan Cooper that she knew:
-
That’s it. No attribution to who supplied that description or where it came from originally.

Here is Ted Braden’s WWII DD-214. Three Bronze Stars and Two Purple Hearts before the age of 17. Pretty hardcore
-
Ask her if they have his DD-214. We’re dying to see it.
-
Perhaps you are right. Lack of Jump Wings is a weird omission in these photos.
-
Is there a reason for thinking this is in Alaska? If it was after jump school he wouldn't have been caught dead without his jump wings on his uniform.
-
I didn't ask for proof. I knew he had been in the military as I had seen the photos that you posted before. However, he doesn't have an official marker and has no military records on Fold3. If he had been deployed overseas during Korea he'd more than likely have something on that website.
-
that's correct. I'd expect to see photos of the man during active duty if he was in the military for any length of time.
-
I said I suspected he "was in the military for a minute". I stand by that considering that the only pics you keep showing are pics of him that look like he's at Jump School but has yet to receive his wings.
-
No one has ever denied he was a skydiver.
-
I can't find Reca/Peca anywhere on Fold3.com. I suspect he was in the military for a minute and got discharged for something. He was ashamed of this and made up an entire life of lies to compensate. This is NOT a Veteran's Headstone. Much like his sloppy fake KGB ID, his fake headstone is rife with mistakes.

I guess I'll be the one to tell you that the first sketch is not in any way a legitimate Cooper sketch. It was not drawn with the cooperation of any eyewitnesses assisting the sketch artist. It was a template sketch created solely via witness descriptions that the artist read via fax i.e. "black hair, 45 years old, sunglasses, medium build". It's a template that the sketch artist used for making adjustments. The Reca camp can't even get that basic fact right. Claiming a victory because the generic template sketch looks like your Cooper suspect is not quite as goofy as claiming that your Cooper suspect landed 100 miles away from the suspected drop zone, but it's close.

Mitchell did say, in critiquing the "Hoodlum" sketch that it needed to be changed to "reflect a man with a slighter darker complexion"
