  1. So that's nothing to do with them being gay I know, I said heterosexual... Exactly...I will service gay people, but I do not provide gay services to anyone....there. I brought it up to illustrate that's it not necessarily about the people that are requesting a particular service, but rather the service itself that I do not provide. I also mentioned how I refused service to a church because the message conflicted with my personal beliefs. It's not that I'm discriminating against christians, I just don't want to be a part of that particular type of service nor promote it. 2. Which is probably why the law needs to change to protect people from being sued and/or thrown in jail by bigoted people that are intolerant of others religious beliefs. Never was there an answer....not without listening, without seeing - Gilmour
  3. Right, and people don't go around calling her a bigot because of it. If I thought skydiving was morally wrong, I would decline to participate in anyway, even if it was something simple like creating a video and promoting such behavior. I've declined media production services to a church because I disagreed with the message and didn't want to be a part of it...no bigotry needed. 5. Those are just stereotypes that don't define black people. Homosexuals are defined by, well, homosexuality. I have two very small businesses (so small, I need two of them) - Home Improvement & video Production. For the home improvement business, It's hard for me to see a situation where I'd deny service to a gay couple. Painting a house or building a deck have nothing to do with homosexuality directly - in fact, I wouldn't even need to know their sexual preference to complete the work. Even if I did, it would be bigoted to deny service strictly because "they're gay and I don't like gay people." The Video production business however is a bit different. If a heterosexual couple asked for me to record/edit a video of them engaging in coitus for the first time as a married couple, I'd have to decline. It's not a service I provide and find it morally objectionable to participate in any way - neither would I want the company to be associated with pornography. If a gay couple asked for me to record/edit a video of their child's birthday or some other non-homosexual event (lol), I wouldn't have a problem. If a gay couple wanted me to record/edit their wedding, I'd have to decline. Same sex marriage videos are not a service I provide and would find it morally objectionable to participate given my personal beliefs...besides, I was told that it's none of my business if a man wants to marry another man. If someone doesn't understand my beliefs and all of a sudden wants to make it my business and force me to participate or sue/imprison me for it, then perhaps they're the bigoted ones. 6. The difference between discriminating against blacks and discriminating against gays is that when you are discriminating against blacks, you are discriminating against them for being black. ...but when "discriminating" against gays, it isn't necessarily for being gay, it's because of their behavior. People/businesses shouldn't be forced to accept nor participate in someone else's behavior that they find objectionable. Never was there an answer....not without listening, without seeing - Gilmour

  8. This whole thing was about "The Stoning of the Devil" ...and apparently the Devil won. This reminds me of a biblical story when a few over-zealous men attempted to drive out demons...they ended up running out of the house naked and beaten. Acts 19:16 Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding. Idiot humans like this actually think they are more powerful, and this is what happens. 2 Peter 2:10 This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the flesh and despise authority. Bold and arrogant, they are not afraid to heap abuse on celestial beings... Never was there an answer....not without listening, without seeing - Gilmour
  9. Darko messed me up a bit... I was pretty young when cool world came out. I saw it with a buddy of mine on a rainy summer wednesday afternoon...we were the only ones in the theater. It was a blast...we had the whole place to ourselves - popcorn fight. ...but the weirdest cult film...??? "I'm gonna knock your dick in the dirt..." 10. Ya, never mind those who punch blind kids in the face...much easier to just exploit and twist it into blanketed jabs against republicans... I agree...much like liberals shouting bigotry every time a black man is inconvenienced or an arab gets reprimanded for bringing a fake bomb to school. It's similar to how liberals were flipping out about how the Texas board of education was supposedly proposing that textbooks teach kids how dinosaurs were on Noah's arc - but it was never a real proposal. It was just an emotion-driven gut reaction to PBS editing putting words in the mouth of some guy on the board. I haven't watched the videos, but what leads you to believe that the whistle blower was embellishing and making up dialogue? You don't even mention O'Donnell's name...talk about manipulative. There is certainly evidence to raise a concern and it should be investigated. Hopefully this will keep PP in check and they can continue to provide legitimate services - but if it's found that they're breaking the law and/or harvesting organs in the manner described, then they are the ones responsible for the lack of integrity and all those negatively affected by the consequences of it - something that persistently seems to elude the liberal mindset - accountability. Edit: Btw, wtf does that mean, lol - the entirety of a few including the indifferent? Never was there an answer....not without listening, without seeing - Gilmour
  11. The medicaid expansion has been a life saver - we are so very grateful. It couldn't have come at a better time for my fiancée. She was once a modestly productive member of society as a veterinarian assistant and then a homemaker. She ran into hard times after her divorce and found it hard to hold a job- which was uncharacteristic of her. We weren't sure what was wrong. At times I would be a bit hard on her...seemed like she was being lazy and had a lack of motivation - at times I thought maybe she was taking our "comfortable" lifestyle for granted - but I also noticed some coordination problems as well....turns out she had terminal brain cancer. Anyway, she had a persistent ear infection and qualified for the medicaid expansion because of her inability to hold a job. Personally, I was a bit embarrassed - I never asked the gov for assistance except for some student loans...I felt like shit that I couldn't take care of her without it. She was diagnosed with a rare anaplastic astrocytoma grade 3 brain tumor and Molina has been absolutely wonderful in covering the expense...we are so grateful. They have covered nearly $200,000 of medical bills for the first two weeks of emergency/inpatient care and diagnosis, plus 6 weeks of radiation and $20,000 for 42 initial generic temodar chemo pills. They also just paid $2200 for 5 more maintenace chemo pills per month and $1700 for a prophylactic antibiotic - tho we had to wait awhile to get that one approved. We did however receive a bill for $120 for 2 weeks of 30 channels of basic hospital cable and telephone that we didn't request. (never understood that one - I get 200 channels + phone and internet for less than that per month...) We also received a bill for $400 which was the difference that the insurance decided not to pay. They also decided not to pay for $800 of physical/speech/occupational therapy...Not a bad deal tho, IMO. Also, in Michigan, the medicaid expansion requires people to pay co-pays and even premiums(?) after the first 6 months, but I'm guessing that the terminally ill get a pass on that. Prior to the medicaid expansion, my fiancée was on a local "sliding scale" program where the majority of people paid $10 per visit and $10 for birth control. It wasn't the best care but there are certainly other options than Planned Parenthood. I know Texas doesn't currently have a medicaid expansion program, but surely they have programs for women other than PP, right? 12. And you were privy to these "behind closed doors" conversations? I suspect not, but feel free to correct me if you were actually there and heard the discussion. I rather suspect that 43,000 people were punked into signing an unnecessary and irrelevant petition because they, like you, were all too ready to substitute their prejudiced view of the world for actual reality. I know right? School admins never do stupid shit when it comes to threats like water guns/balloons, rubber bands, clocks, etc...why would they act any differently when it came to knocking the shit out of someone? It's not your fault...God made you that way. At least you're willing to correct his mistake.
