I've been letting her keep up with her own maintenance, which, up till now has been great. Come to find out during all this the car needed or still needs: spark plugs, water pump, valve cover gasket, distributor cap/ rotor, plug wires, O2 sensor, BOTH axle shafts (one boot broken, others leaking), exhaust manifold gasket, and a partridge in a pear tree. That didnt count the tools I had to buy, I used to have everything I needed, but they all got stolen, and I've only been replacing things as I needed them. Well yesterday I needed about $150 worth of tools, and about 300 worth in parts. Im off to the store again today to pick up the 02 sensor and the plug wires. Oh, and I'd take my 1994 VR4 Mitsubishi Galant over this thing ANY day! Much more room, but again, tight spaces. Ok, so let me begin by saying if you know us, you know that I have the nice car, and Hottie has the P.O.S. She's had her 1994 Honda del Sol since 98, and its got a whopping 227,000 miles on it. Other than once it wouldnt start, a battery, a radaitor, a clutch, and brakes, its been trouble free. It had never left her stranded until Saturday, on the side of the freeway, 3 hours from the DZ I was on on a beautiful sunny Saturday. So, through a series of phone calls, we get it all sorted out: the wrecker, someone to pick her up, where the car is going, etc. I get a couple jumps in and finish safety day and haul ass to the house (where we had the car dropped). A couple quick checks and yup, the timing belt had broken. Now any of you that know anything about Honda's knows that this is a VERY bad thing. Usually its bends valves and costs major $$$. Long story short: Ive never done this repair before, and does it suck. I got it all back together about 7:30 last night, and it runs again. Seems like we got lucky and not bent any valves, but while I was playing monkey boy under the car I found multiple things wrong that must be fixed. Ugh. Why is it that my hand is always a little too big for where I need to put that bolt back in? Why is it I have to bend wrenches to get at that bolt? Why is it you have to all but remove the freakin engine to put a timing belt and a water pump on this freakin car? !!Explative here!! Ok, now carry on.

I had a king size bed from the time i was 14 until I was 25. Much of that time I had satin sheets and other "enhancements" I always slept really well in the water bed, and our new bed is a king size comfort top, but recently Ive not been sleeping very well. I suggest buying a bed that suited to your sleeping position: back, side, stomach, etc. Our bed is quite firm and I like to sleep on my side, sit those two dont work out too well. Just my .02.
