I know someone very close to me that met her current husband online and after 2 trips to see him married him... halfway around the world... 22 hours flying to be exact. two years and still loving it. I'll fall in line w/ most of that. I have been to Germany, France, Switzerland, Venezuela, and Australia. Most of them all like us well enough (except the french, just my experience) but they hear a great many more grumblings from people who live in the middle east. The problem is... they are beginning to think like US. ooh... there is an American... they must be a money hugry, war mongering, Bush supporter. Just like a great majorty of U.S. citiczens.. think hell just go over them and kill em all. (again just my experience) My father spent a year and a half in Bosnia (talk about HATE americans) and now lives in Germany. and my Mother in Austrailia I worry about them, not cuz there far away.. but that some finatic.. will assume just b/c theyre american... and want to hurt/kill em. the word just aint what is used to be. We have spent too much time sticking our noses where it dont belong. IMHO. yea.. those are worth drooling over. my buddy has a 69 SS Chevelle (super fast) and his dad has got a 67 SS Chevelle, 4sp, A/C, disk brakes (awsome) Attached is a pic of my ride... dont let if fool ya. Its pushin 300hp at the tires. Not shabby for a 4cyl, but it still will never compete w/ some of the classics as far as looks go. my advice: dont buy a car. Just for the maint hassle. You could buy a cheap Honda (read reliable) w/ A/C ect....but expect to pay at least 5-6 thousand. plus, what if it doent sell very fast? Check w/ National Rent a car, or thrifty... both of those do one way... I know I have done it... and yea they can be overpriced... but no issues w/ insurance or maint. also... hook up w/ some skydivers over here.... Im sure there are some willing to move you a part of the way. I know if you were in my part of the country... I could handle moving ya a few hours east and west of me. Just and idea! Good luck. I have three... a small one on my back. Original... you wont see it anywhere else cuz my friend drew it up when we were in high school and I have the original. 2. a band on my rt arm... I was drunk... and it was "off the wall" but I knew when I saw it, I wanted it... and never regretted it. Plus it reminds me of the last time me and "all" of my friends took a trip and did somthing wild and crazy. 3. a custom job (derived from an off the wall) had it done in Australia on my first trip... best work I have seen. the lady was awsome.... and now im working on more custom work to go around it.... the begginings of a large work. all in all I have almost 10 yrs from first to now... but I have to be ready for a tat... and I have to want it from the first time I see it... and thats rare. my .02! when I was single... I once had some friends over and one of them opened the fridge to get a beer and was suprised to find only 2 cases of beer and a bottle of mustard. but now that im married and the cook of the house (and my mum is up for a visit next week) I have full fridge... in fact the most its ever been filled. and in the spirit of other pics posted have a look. and please ignore the bad beer.
