I am as you would say "attached" to my cell phone from 8am until 5pm usually. I am an IT professional who is always on the move. I do have to be in public situations like eating lunch or at the post office or even at Wal-Mart. I am on call from these hours. I have to answer the phone no matter where I am at. I do not see where I am seen as an arrigant ass who can't stay off the cell phone. My clients pay for this and I would not have a job anymore if I just stopped answering calls when I am in public places. Just my 2 cents. Blue Skies, Jeremy

My mom just called. Asked me if we had found a place yet. I told her maybe. She wanted to know what that meant. I told her about Hawaii. She freaked out! Got all depressed sounding and said that she had to go and would call me back later tonight and we would "talk" about it. Not sure what she means. I think she means she will call me back and tell me not to do it. Make me feel bad for not allowing grandparents and such to be there. That is what I am guessing. My fiance and I have been planning our wedding. It is crazy and very stressful. We both do not want stress or anything like that. We have been tossing the idea around of possibly doing a destination wedding in Hawaii. We have both really wanted to go there for our honeymoon, why not do the ceremony there too. Problem is that if our parents or friends wanted to go, it would cost them money to come out to watch the ceremony. I am 25 and she is 23. We both love the idea. We would make them stay in a seperate hotel than ours so we are not really bothered. When we come back a week later, have a reception somewhere in order to see friends and such. Have pictures and video of our wedding in paradise playing on a TV or something. What does everyone else think about this? Think we are being selfish? I can say that I have had the not so nice feeling of not really walking in on them while they were doing it, but rather I found a video tape I thought was blank. I was 16 years old and had come home from school and was going to tape something on TV and I went to find a blank tape. In the back of the tape drawer where we always keep blank ones, I found one already open. It was already used looking, the tape was kind of on one side. I put it in the make sure I could record over it. AGHH!!!! My eyes. I jumped off the couch and ran to the VCR to eject it. I could not believe what I had saw. My folks getting it on! BLECK! I once stole some gas from the neighbors shed and put it in a ziplock bag. I took it to the woods down the street and set it on fire. It got out of hand really quickly. I could not put it out and had to call the fire department. They were not able to get the trucks back there and had to put it out by hand. They were really pissed at me. I was 11. Blue Skies, Jeremy

Actually I have been seeing more and more of these types of emails being sent out. It seems that they have an attachment that is normally a zip file. In that zip file there is a jpg type file that is actually an application. Do not run this. It seems that this file has the virus Sober.X in it. Sober.X is a new virus that has been out for only a week or so. It infects your system and starts up its own e-mail sending program in the background. It then goes out and looks for email addresses in your document files and even .pst outlook files. It them mails itself out to all the addresses that it could find. Blue Skies, Jeremy

That really sucks. I have Progressive and I live in AL. I recently had to claim a glass break when a limb from a tree smashed it out from the hurricane. They were more than happy to help. Not sure about your location and problems. I have noticed on some insurance commercials that in fine print at the bottom of the ad, it mentions RI as a state for some kind of different way it is handled. Not sure, I would forget about asking when you are trying to claim and just call as a potential customer and see what they say. This is why I have a local rep. in my hometown sell me insurance. Sometimes it is much cheaper going through him than it is direct. Plus I get to ask questions to someone in person, not someone over the phone who could care less and is told to make the calls quick. I know I have a bad habit of being an ass with folks in public service. Seems like those bastards at Best Buy got the best of me yesterday. I went to buy a TV and a TV stand. That is it. I had walked in the store without being bothered. I picked out my TV that I wanted. Still no sales person to help out with it. I walked to customer service and had them page someone to come help me. I waited 55 mins until someone came up to help. This was very much a pain in the arse. I would have walked out and went somewhere else if it were not for the sale that was going on. Anywho, after I bought the TV and the stand they were going to load it in my car. The guy at the door told me to get my car and pull it to the curb and he had someone on their way already to help load it. That they would meet me at the curb. I pulled the car up and sat there for 15 mins. Still no-one!! I walked inside and the guy was like "Welcome to Best Buy, how can I help you?" I was so pissed off. I asked the guy why my stuff had not been brought out yet. He said he forgot to call someone to bring it out. I almost lost it again! Man, I was really trying to be patient, but this was getting old. He called someone up and the manager stopped by the kiosk and just happened to ask how my shopping experience was. I told him that he needed to put a sign on the front of the building that said, " Come here and wait." He said he was sorry and that was it. It is not like it was busy at the time either. There was plenty of sales folks and stuff around there, but they were just in interested. BLAH!! Blue Skies, Jeremy
