  1. Both events will be very rewarding for all. Maybe we could start another thread for the Memorial Day fund raiser Bo? Chris
  2. Bill, am I reading into this too much? But why does it seem to be many female jumper's names on the injured list? The boys not playing nice on the playground? Chris
  3. Yah, that was so she didn't get distracted by shiney things and go drifting off. Oh and welcome back to reality! It's friggen freezing in here Mr. Bigglesworth! [/Dr. Evil] It's 11 degrees here now. Betsy! I need some heat!
  4. I don't believe waiting around was one of my joices. Some airports I've seen have the TSA screening right out front. Others have it deep in the back. Goes to show even those of us IN the industry can have snags on things. Chris Schindler www.diverdriver.com ATP/D-19012 FB #4125
  5. Literally, to keep the zipper closed. It tended to push itself open. As soon as I checked it I thought to myself that would be the last time I'd see that lock. And sure enough. I wanted to ask the gate agent about being paged if it needed to be opened since I got there so early. Nope, nuthin. It's ok. The lock is easily replaceable and I didn't have to worry about my rig. Just, next time, I'll carry both rig and weight vest with me to esplain it. Chris Schindler www.diverdriver.com ATP/D-19012 FB #4125
  6. Yah, and filing a false police report is a criminal offense too. So, if she can't prove you came at her with a gun maybe she'll get her just desserts.
  7. I just traveled (2/12/04) from PHX to Chicago O'Hare (ORD). I packed my rig in my carry on "roller board". I packed my clothes and hook knife in my gear back along with my weight vest. Rig passed through X-ray at gate entry without a second look or question. Cypres, RSL/Skyhook installed. My gear bag had the lock cut and TSA tag put on. I figure they were looking for the weight vest. Next time I will put weight vest AND rig in roller board and everything else in gear back and checked. 8. *sniff*.... Feel special Zen. She didn't even offer me a roll in the Z-P. I feel so left out now. *sniff*
  9. Man, does this woman know how to handle a stick and throttle! Man! You're in for a hell of a ride.
  10. What can I say, I just jetted out to Eloy for a few days and man did I have fun. "I have been to the promised land and I am here to say that it is gooooooooooood" Thanks to Bets for giving me a place to stay and having a wonderful time all around. You rock. Thanks to Eloy for being a great place with something for everyone. Thanks to manifest who kept trying to get me on RW loads even though many were just freeflying. Made 7 great jumps in 2 days. Thanks to Marc Antony (sp?) from France for letting me jump with him. Was a pleasure. Thanks to "Fogy" from Ohio for finding us and gettin on loads. Thanks to LO Phil for the jumps on Wed and the "introduction". I feel rejuevenated. More than just "aired out". I really needed this. That DC-3 load...was humming the "Freak Brother" song all the way up. Love that prop blast. We even coached Marc Antony well. His white jumpsuit has been Christened on the front. Sign of a good exit. 11. I"m getting much better about that...i think... I have been asked to come here and post that I was given fair warning before Sunshine left our IM the other day. This is a true statement without slant. She did give me fair warning in the ONE IM chat that we have had that she was leaving. I hope this allows people to understand better what Sunshine's IMing habbits are. You all can continue with your day. Chris
  12. OMG. That is just huge! Congrats to everyone there who was a part of it. Man, Relative Work really does not have any limits. Chris Schindler www.diverdriver.com ATP/D-19012 FB #4125
  13. You do suck Dave. I'm just sitting here on a Saturday morning on a trip taking pot shots at Trolls. If I can't be skydiving it's actually kinda fun!
  14. Well then, here you go again. Chris Schindler www.diverdriver.com ATP/D-19012 FB #4125
  15. Say WHAT!!!????? Chris Schindler www.diverdriver.com ATP/D-19012 FB #4125
  16. Ok, I actually have to do things before work today and don't have time to try this yet. I might repost later. My outlook has been acting finiky on sending emails. I can receive just fine but sending seems to be a problem. So, it'll just have to wait.
  17. Unfortunately I don't have a way of doctoring (no pun intended) the photos that I know of. No photoshop. Does anything simple come along with XP?
  18. Thanks Lisa. Yes, I deleted it. I shouldn't have posted the guy's face unless I had his permission (which I didn't since I don't know him). If I had photos like this of myself it would be a different story. So, everyone calm down. I deleted it. I thank Lisa for taking down the thread. 19. Yes, my understanding is that he survived.
  20. Ok, thanks to whichever Greenie took it down. Yah, after the PM from Deuce I agree it was in poor taste even though I didn't intend to post it just for getting a reaction. Actually, you should be VERY careful on your preflights. We all talk about the "Cessna diamond club" and some even post pictures. I didn't intend to sensationalize it. Again, my apologies.
