In case of imminent strike, use the risers. Otherwise use the toggles. At least you didn't burn up tons of altitude flying on risers. Dwain W. once commented about doing super low freefalls. He wouldn't unstow his toggles for landing since he would get an opening surge that could cause a problem. It is possible to land on rear risers even with toggles stowed - prohibited by the type of landing area of course. I believe he would grab the brake line immediately above the keeper ring and fly on this. Looks like a death sandwich without the bread - Steve Deadman Morrell, BASE 174

The FCC registration number should give you a rundown on the tower. Check out the FCC website. Looks like a death sandwich without the bread - Steve Deadman Morrell, BASE 174

Rich Stein (BASE 75) did 100 before he made a skydive, starting at the age of 16, I believe. Jamie xxxxxx didn't complete it because of a severe injury BASE 346 got it when he was 19. Looks like a death sandwich without the bread - Steve Deadman Morrell, BASE 174

Old days... J.D. Walker (and Dead Steve Morrell not shown, RIP) put me off on my first jump, a 600 foot cliff. And Rick and I managed to get Kevin V. out on a jump recently, with his gut duct-taped since he had his spleen recently removed after a car accident. I find it hard to believe anyone could travel with 372 pounds of cocaine with intentions for only personal use. http://www.blincmagazine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23489 http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/aplocal_story.asp?category=6420&slug=WA%20Cocaine%20Bust Looks like a death sandwich without the bread - Steve Deadman Morrell, BASE 174

Keep it. I've heard that dozens of hikers die each year. Maybe we should instead start a web site with the grizzly descriptions of the deaths of all these hikers, thus preventing the wanton and needless loss of life from hiking. Or maybe a website with deathly descriptions of alcohol poisening which might limit a citizen's right to alcohol, despite the Constitutional amendment. ah, imagine the irony if U.S. extremists hijacked an airliner and flew it into the the world's largest building, completed by the Bin Laden group! Looks like a death sandwich without the bread - Steve Deadman Morrell, BASE 174

I was sickened to hear of Nick's stunt last night. Everyone tried calling his cell out of despair, assuming he was already dead. I am now glad I do not know the fellow after his (literal medical) psychopathic manipulation. Looks like a death sandwich without the bread - Steve Deadman Morrell, BASE 174

To read some info about the hazards of exposure to high intensity electric fields, go to http://www.dcjenn.com/EC3630/EMhazards(v1.1).pdf I am still evaluating the article so I cannot make recommendations. Looks like a death sandwich without the bread - Steve Deadman Morrell, BASE 174

Personally, I like the taste of falcons. They taste kind of like American Eagle or California Condor. Looks like a death sandwich without the bread - Steve Deadman Morrell, BASE 174

True story about me: When I was 4, I did a frontflip off the roof of a newly purchased large doghouse placed in our house garage. I attempted to hit a bale of hay, but I missed, hit my head on the concrete floor, and put myself into a coma. I think that counts as a clear indicator of a future BASE jumper. Isn't Ed in jail for burglery related to a crack addition? Makes me wonder how he had all the energy to make so many jumps. Looks like a death sandwich without the bread - Steve Deadman Morrell, BASE 174

And a super enormous pilot chute will damage the bridle attachment point, in addition to pulling your canopy terribly during flight. Imagine having a huge anchor behind your canopy. No forward flight in your ram air, hence no ability to properly flare. Looks like a death sandwich without the bread - Steve Deadman Morrell, BASE 174

As a joke, I should subdivide it to something like: Choice 1: 0-10 feet Choice 2: 10-50 feet Choice 3: 50-100 feet etc... Looks like a death sandwich without the bread - Steve Deadman Morrell, BASE 174
