    I hate everybody thats going to Rantoul this year. I'm broken...had to cancel my plane tickets, and room......now i'm gonna sit here for the whole WFFC and sulk. The close group of friends I had when I crushed my spine in 96 are still here with me thru this darn hip replacement. I hear from them every day. Yes....they are all skydivers. I have been jumping for the greatest part of my adult life ..and those "friends" that were just people I knew, have been long gone ,for decades . A true friend is the guy or girl that will crawl into a burning house because you may be in there. If you have one of these.....or ,like myself, are blessed with half a dozen....count yourself lucky, most people never will. bozo bozo Pain is fleeting. Glory lasts forever. Chicks dig scars.

    Lisa , Rosa...I am blown away by this truly. I've been a skydiver half my lifetime.....of course I know about the friendship and fellowship that skydivers have....and was still blown away. bozo aint special.....all I hope is that, someday , when I walk away ,somebody says....hey there goes boz.....he was a pretty fair skydiver....if I can accomplish that , I will have all that I asked from the sport I've always loved so much. bozo bozo bozo Pain is fleeting.     I get out of the hospital today after a four day stay. Big surgery....lotta blood. Anyway....just minutes after getting home today the head nurse from the ward I was on...calls to tell me two people who wont identify themselves are there and is it ok to let them have my address."Sure its ok" I tell her, a little bewildered ,not knowing who it could be. About an hour later Michele and Sparky from this forum show up at my home with balloons and a gift. Ok , youre saying...whats the big deal ? Heres the big deal........I live in the Las Vegas area....Michele lives in LA....Sparky in Victorville. 300 miles...........for me ? I have never considered myself very special...these two wonderful people made my homecoming an event and me a very special feeling , broken skydiver.     Uh...lets see.....Ive never been President of the United States. What I was trying to impart is this. Almost all my Tandems were done in the hard Nevada desert, this beat the daylights out of mine and quite of few other TMs knees.
