No, the activation speed was raised from 78 to 96 mph, and the 'deactivation' will occur at 330 feet instead of 130. Having the display located on the backpad provides good protection when wearing your rig, but seems quite vulnerable when handling the rig. It is very common for a rig to get dropped to the ground right on the backpad, not to mention the pressure that can get applied to it during reserve packing.
