You are correct, and I believe you. I'm basing my comments on what's been happening on a fairly regular basis. It wasn't necessarrily directed at you. Many people believe they are skilled long before they are. Since it just so happens that a new local jumper is in the category, it's easy to make those comments. I mean no disrespect my friend My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

There is great scuba diving and beaches ... it's even a little better than Penang http://www.tioman.com.my/ My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

Bigger slider or put a pocket on it. I'd suggest calling PD and ordering the larger slider. That is all. Good luck My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

Yes. It keeps happening. I have a new friend who does not have the skills to be BASE jumping and so far, has 10 BASE jumps and 50 skydives. He can leave the object fine but watching his videos, he clearly does not know what he's doing after he opens. What am I supposed to do? Leave him to jump alone? Well, I won't jump with him but I will point him the right direction starting with rigging and canopy skills. So to answer your question again, yes.. I do believe you would jump without the proper canopy skills. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

My friend (yes my friend, I haven't been married) first met his wife on RussianLadies.com. After she grew weary of him, it seemed that a Hot!!! Russian bride would be fun to kick it with. That worked out for a good long while but there was something missing. The women were great people but seemed to want their freedom after exactly 2 years. Are you looking for a Good wife ™? Be it latin, russian, asian... a Good wife ™ can be found right there on Good wife ™ dot com. Search around be all you can be. At Good wife ™, your happiness, is their business Many happy honeymoons My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

Packing the pilot chute inside is idiot proof. I personally don't like putting the shrivel flap sideways since it leaves the hook exposed. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

I'm sure they figured it out . If Southern California was a little closer to the bay area, I'd be joining the party. Have fun tonight. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

I hope some video gets posted. I finally attended BD a couple years ago and watch the boat crew. The boat really was there in about 5 seconds. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

Because I missed "number 5" on the list and wondered why you referred to the yosemite incident. (that, and it was 2:23 in the morning when I shouldn't be posting ). My apoligies. Yes I know FG could swim. He was also a good skydiver as well as a BASE jumper. Take care My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

One person who was being chased by people who wanted to arrest him, jumped into a fast moving river and drowned. If someone lands in the water at bridge day, skilled boat drivers and crew will extract the jumper in less than a minute whether he can swim or not. Being chased and choosing to flee by plunging into a river and simply landing near a rescue crew with the intention of being rescued is not even comparable. Food for thought. At bridge day, if there are any doubts, land in the water. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

The rig looks great. What I like most is the front shot of the rig. The way the ricord handle is not seated properly in *Pictures Of Infinity Rig 001.jpg* is quite artsy. Nice work! My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

How many jumps before you replace your pilot chute?
hookitt replied to tetra316's topic in Gear and Rigging
The PC itself has over 1000 jumps on it. I've replaced the bridle a few times though. When I got a new rig, the pilot chute and bridle design was better than what came with it so it's on its second rig. The pilot chute is still in usuable condition so I just keep using it. There are benefits to being ones own rigger. When parts go out of spec, they get fixed. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto -
Amen, brother! And my wife is happy riding that small car! You're wife rides with matt1215? That's very progressive of you 2 as a couple. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

So were you jumping your ultra hip Raven when you were "hanging" around Moab? Performing a TARD over off a cliff, using shallow brake settings, was not the canopies fault. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

Pre-second is retarded.. First.. Go ahead. First... say it First!!!! Have fun. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

KevinMcGuire would probably be able add to that if he chooses. He jumped the Raven IV for a lot of jumps before a large enough BASE canopy was produced. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

I have a 46 inch and a 48 inch pilot chute. My 46 is really 46 inches in diameter measured across all load tapes. The 48, ranges from 45 1/2 inches to 46 1/4 inches in diameter depending on the load tapes being used. Needless to say, it's not a 48.
