Happy Birthday. That object is pretty local to me. Give me a call next time you're in the area. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

I got nothing else to do right now. Where's the "Steves Weird Knee Contraption" show playing? I'll bring my rigs and pack them in front of him. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

I can definitely kick that high. (Edit: Good reflexes. Horrible spelling. And ... fuck you too SBS. Get well) My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

Couple inches taller than me... Why? It's a knee. I'm pretty sure I can kick higher than any human knee so it's not much of a stretch. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

I'll kick you in the knee then. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

Because of this post, I tried to send you a message on my space but it encountered an error. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

It looks like the over head compartment, where the rig would have probably been stored, is missing. Your choices would be slim. If it were under my seat and available, and the other people didn't grab all the handles trying to take it from me etc ... hell yeah I'd put it on. Don't know if it would be feasible to get out but given an oppurtunity and location *water or land* then bye bye. You would end up on the missing persons/presumed dead list so you could create a new identity. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

hehe.. why you pickn on me luv2fly? Yeah, I know, you're speaking all of us. I personally have nothing against F-111. I also don't have any pilot chutes made from it. When I Purchased my first new rig, I bought a bunch of pilot chutes to go with it and still use them. I bought the Toxic because it's very nice and the quality is supreme. The one pilot chute I still have that's not CR/Asylum is not symetrical (which on this PC is not a big deal). It's also not the size it's labled. The centerline was replaced by me because the original was made way too short by approximately 3 inches. It's still fine for objects in the 0-1 second delay range, I'll continue to use on back to back loads. As for F-111 being too porous, no, I don't believe that. It's definately not the case. I've seen the drop tests on F-111 and ZP pilot chutes that were built the same and sure enough the F-111 was a lot more stable. We agree because it would be foolish not too. There's absolute evidence in captured on the videos. If the PC's don't kill me, I'll show you video at the beginning of next month on how my 38s perform in the 5 second range. It's about time someone that has a Toxic or a few mentions it. Any opinions yet? My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

That's one of the dumbest things I've heard. That means... if you have a neat and tidy pack job, forget about it. Crumple the hell out of the canopy to take up more space. Wrinkled up reserve canopies are a pain to deal with. Pack the way you pack, If it doesn't fit in the container properly, it may be wise not to pack it. QuoteThe only camera I have currently available is a phone. The lighting isn't great in here either so pardon the fantastic quality. Asylum Toxic Pilot chute Pictures: Note the single point attachment. It allows for zero tolerance trim and easily centered bridle attachment. The vents are made with marquisette mesh (fine mesh) From skirt to apex, the canopy material will not stretch. After it inflates, as much as ZP stretches, will stretch uniformly outward. The design seems really nice. The workmanship is excellent. After august I can give a review. I should have a bunch of daytime jumps on it by then so hopefully there will be good video and pictures of how it performs. It's worked every time so far, so the reviews up to this point are great. (If the single point attachment picture doesn't open, save it first.) My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

How Small Does a Raise Have to Be To Make You Laugh?
hookitt replied to NWFlyer's topic in The Bonfire
how about 0.67% ? I worked at a world renowned fast food joint for quite a while before I knew better. Minimum wage started at 3.35 an hour. They gave out nickel an hour raises. If you were an exceptional worker and overly cheery, a 10 cent an hour raise was very exciting. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto -
Those are known to be poor pressurizing canopies in a BASE environment. ========== I've jumped soaked BASE canopies slider up. They opened rather quickly. Large 600 lb black Dacron lines against #8 Brass Grommets are slippery when wet. In my opinion BASE canopies and Reserve canopies can not be compared in the scenario they're being compared in. Slider off configuration, there's no comparison at all. Most BASE canopies have 600lb braided Dacron lines. Reserves have either coated or noncoated 725 spectra/microline. BASE canopies have a bridle attachment point that stretches the canopy out before the lines pay out from a tail pocket. Reserves are stuffed in a free bag. The canopy is lifted all the way to line extension before the bag comes off the canopy and flies away. The canopy is not influenced until the bag comes off. True enough. I doubt I could do it in a hurry either. But of course! My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

Really? Why not? In case one of my hands was rendered useless, I made a point to pull both handles with either hand. On the ground of course. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

The makers of the Infinity made a nice change to the way the cutaway handle (and the metal pipe "soft" reserve handle) is held secure in the main lift webs. Overcoming the sheer strength of velcro is difficult. Peeling the handle away then punching down and outward proves to be much much easier. Well, I let my hand slip off the cutaway handle once (and only once) because I just grabbed it and pulled. I had 1300 jumps and I'm not weak. I've performed intentional breakaways prior to that but my first unplanned breakaway took an extra second to regrab, (both hands this time) peel and punch. Velocity Sports Equipment (builders of the Infinity) has begun sewing the velcro that holds the cutaway handle to the liftweb onto a flap rather than directly against the lift web. If you pull straight out, the flap allows the velcro to peel. If you peel first, well, it still peels. It's a simple and brilliant addition. It holds very securely but when you need the cutaway handle removed quickly, it sure helps, especially if for some reason you forget to peel first. It happens, so always train properly to engrain good habits. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

Any chance you can take another picture of that with the handle in the right place? I like those handles but that picture should finally get retired Also put something black against the back pad behind the lift webs for contrast.
