Hey all, For lack of a better place The Bonfire (with all that is being discussed there) has become and awkward and mostly unfitting home for our condolences threads when somebody passes away. I've created a separate forum where we can post memories and tributes to our friends who stayed for a while and left before us. Feel free to post your condolences and upload your favorite photos for us to remember them by. The Incidents forum remains the place where we remember and learn from the incident. The Blue Skies forum is where we celebrate and remember the person. We are going to m ove some older condolences threads into that forum over the next few days. Feel free to send one of the mods a link to a thread that belongs in that forum. Safe swoops Sangiro

No bet on how long he'll be around this time - that's up to him - but I'll bet it all that there won't be another round after this one. I'm glad you managed to hold out while he was gone. You two should get a room. Safe swoops Sangiro -

Thank you Karen I was waiting for the post. my paraphraase would be to substitute "posters" Wow...that's umm... "deep". Dude, if you have an itch to scratch or feel like the whole world is against you or just feel slightly off or you know, any of those things that may cause you to reach for the Prozac, drop me a PM and we'll see what we can do to help. Maybe you can start by telling me whether you feel like Boxer or Benjamin? Safe swoops Sangiro

Or maybe a temperature checker? Or maybe they're just holding the whole damn thing together with duct tape.

Yvonne and Squeak, I brought this thread back from the Recycle Bin just to make sure you don't live with this idea in your mind that Andy has been seriously wronged by some evil mod. Both of you were quick to jump to Andy's defense, and while I find the whole idea of sticking up for your friend quite noble, just make sure you know what you're talking about. Andy was out of line. Andrea acted well within the rules and this is not his first warning or offense. When we decide on the action we take, we look back at the history of the user and quite frankly, if he was lily-white this might have looked different. Each and every gripe thread he posted after that was simply against the rules. I invite every one (in the rules) to send me a PM when you think you've been wronged by a mod. Believe me, I have no problem reversing a decision they've made. Andy chose not to do so. Instead, he chose to try and create threads as fast as they got removed and cap it by insulting the moderator. He got a PM from me and instead of saying, "Yup - I could have done it better" he chose to make sure I understand he doesn't "give a fuck". So, we'll take it from there. You two should just make sure you don't labor under the impression or spread the notion that he got wronged somehow. I suggest you feel free to pick this up with me via PM rather than fall into the same trap. Safe swoops Sangiro
