I'm actually going to turn it off for PM as well... There are too many quirks in that and it only works for IE 5.5. You can compose posts in the Advanced Editor that would make the forums look pretty nasty for people without IE 5.5... Safe swoops Sangiro

Andrea, This copies a "browser friendly" URL to that post to your computer clip-board. If you want to email a link to a post to a friend, click on that link, paste it into your email and you should have a nice short, clean URL.... also good for linking to in other posts. Click on it again, open a new browser window and paste it in the browser address line... you'll see what I mean. Safe swoops Sangiro

I'll check into this. Go to Edit Profile and change this to your default dispaly setting... Will look into this as well. This one was a bit of a resource drain though... I'm trying to find a balance between preserving reosurces and making it easy to use. Again, check your display settings and see if there's something there for you to play with to get close to this. Mike, You can only update a DZ listing if you "own" the listing - that is if you originally posted it. If that is you, then you have to log in to Dropzone.com before you try to make any changes. If the DZ was listed by a member of your DZ and you'd like the ownership of the link transferred to you so you can make changes in the future, then drop me an e-mail... Safe swoops Sangiro

Seeing as Apache runs 60% of internet sites I'm hoping them nasty hackers have some more lucrative targets before they come around to Dropzone.com! It's a bit like the big migration on the Serengeti... all those wildebeest crossing rivers at the same time, hoping that the crocodile will get your neighbor in stead of you! Safety in numbers. ... coming to the forums in the very near future. I am going to switch the forums to a system that is more compatible with some of the other applications I'm using on the site. The bad thing about the new forums is that there will be a few changes and new things to learn. People will miss some features they used to have. The good thing about the new forums is that there will be a few changes and new things to learn. People will find some new cool features we didn't have before. The new forum was developed out of years of experience with WWWThreads so it's pretty similar in many ways. I believe it's a move in the right direction to make the Dropzone.com experience even more integrated. I'll keep you posted.... Safe swoops Sangiro
