Wassup bro, I am sure you are getting tired of all of the no's by now. (I agree with all of the posts by the way) I come with a different solution. Get on the same load as your buddy and with the TIs permission talk to him on the way up. The TI might be preping, or talking to the passenger on the way up to altitude. Wish your buddy luck and do a solo or some other classification of a jump in front of him. I am sure that this will add to the experience for both of you. Most of the people I have taken for tandems genuinely dig seeing the others take their position in the door and disappear. Insert the repeated OH MY GAWD! sound track here. peace Mish

Dude that is awesome, I would like your permission to use that for one of my calves. It is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Mish

Anyone gotten burned out on skydiving?
mischo replied to mfrese's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Dude, Tandems got you down? I do alot of student jumps, tandems and AFF. They completely support my addiction and allow me to buy cool new gear. I occasionaly coach and though the jumps aren't high speed I get my opportunity to teach and subsequently attempt to recruit more bellyfliers(a dying species) I try to get more people interested in FS. That gives me something to look forward to. I also like to swoop and skydive in general. If all else has got you bored to tears with skydiving I offer one word of advice...BASE! In one way or another IT will change your life. -
Well if you need a new container then I am pretty sure you could get a TJN for the 128 and 98 I dont know about the NJ though. Your older OJ would probably be a breeze to pack. The reason I asked about your size was to see if wanting the NJ was for aerodynamic reasons. Good luck to you and I will see ya down there some time. Mish
-
Dave, I think you me and Jt hit that tower together, do I have the right guy?
-
I've got a couple questions for ya, How big are you? What size reserve are you using? Do you pack the rig yourself? Like I said it packs up into a OJ/TJN bag and I have room for more. I started it in a OJ with a 143 res and then I put it in a TJN with a 126 and its still easy to pack. Mish
-
Dude there are lots of cats that BASE @ your home DZ. Including the fella that runs the joint. I am sure they cant wait to welcome you into the fold. Probably wouldnt mind showing you how to pack as well. See you in a few months Mish
-
TJN, sorry dude my lesdyxia got the better of me Mish

I have a 98 Xaos 27 in a Tall Narrow Javelin with a 126PD and I could cram a couple more square feet in there. I hope it helps. Mish

I have a few tattoos, and I have gone full spectrum in after care. Everything from blowing it off and getting it dirty and terribly infected. To treating it like a premature baby, keeping the tattoo in a hyperbaric bubble. I definitley think that the ointment Betadine-H(antibiotic) is the bomb ya rub it on there every few hours to keep it moist at first, to eventually(10days)twice a day. Neosporine can pull ink out of the tattoo and lotion only keeps the skin moist it does not promote healing. Some may have had good results with other products, but you may have either sensitive skin or already have started a little infection. Just my two cents good luck Mish

Has anyone seen it? Is it entertaining? Is it informative(compared to the GK and Airspeed Blocks and Random Exits videos)? Is it worth $80.00? Mish
-
Thanks again for offering, I jump out of suffolk may see you at the point someday mish
-
I was going to ask you to give someone a call for me, I am unable to make a call at this time but Someone already did it for me so thank you anyway. I appreciate it Do you jump at Suffolk or West Point? Mish

If ya are I could use a favor. Mish

Thanks for the replys. If any one has a copy of that discontinued video I would gladly buy them beer for a taped copy. Since no one will be losing money on the deal I am sure BR wouldn't have any heartburn. email me at mischo@dropzone.com. Thanks again Mish

You are correct sir. Mish

I forgot about Omniskores Coach program. This is awesome. It not just shows you the moves (ie 4'99, Mind maps, and the other videos). It breaks each slots exact movements including when not to move. This doesn't fit in with every continuity plan but it (used in conjunction with 4'99 or mind maps) is a helluva start. Now you too, can become a borderline obsessed 4way geek. Mish

All good advice(fm previous posts) also check out Mario Santos web site forgive me I am compuilliterate so no clicky for ya I know you can link it from here www.mariosantos.com there is no other website with that much information. If ya feel like digging around, go to Omniskore they have diagrams of all the different formations. Dive pools etc. I think that is putting the cart before the horse though. Like you said earlier, a day with a coach would be worth its weight in gold. Not being rude, having only 20 some jumps, get a qualified coach and learn all you can from that person. You have no bad habits so there would be none to break. Good luck to ya. Mish

Howdy, Just curious to see if any one has a copy of a flat pack video or know where I can get one. My dial up connection makes research a pain in the a$%. I appreciate the input. Mish

Hi y'all, I am giving a shout out, inquiring about the paintings on the wall of the swoopers( its a great outline of a man under a screaming canopy). I would like a pic so I could print it out and have a qualified person ink it into my thigh. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Mish

Howdy, I am wondering how to get into the technical forum on Blinc. I have long since logged in to the site and it continues to be a protected(locked) forum. Thank you Mish

Hi Mario, As usual very informative post, I am unable to go to the States, Uncle Sam won't let me. So I guess I will just have to bite the bullet and shell out the extra cash. I am looking for a knowledgeable coach who speaks English and has a through understanding of the blocks. If you know of someone that fits that description let me know. I have about 60 hours of tunnel time now and I would like to work with player coach so I can work on the IC & Tail slots. PM me if you're interested take care, Mish

Howdy y'all, I am looking for information about the tunnel in Paris France. Prices, scheduling, and potential coaching. I will be traveling w/ a few Germans, but like all Americans. I am bilingual impared. I would prefer the coach to speak English. I would love to hear from anyone who has actually been there. I would like to know about your experience good or bad. My goals of the tunnel trip is to do 4-Way in the tunnel, both blocks and randoms. How does the tunnel compare to Skyventure or Ft. Bragg? I have spent a few hours in Orlando as well as Bragg. Thank you, Mish
