If we take Iraq, make them an ally, then we will have a nice foothold to watch the goings on in the middle east. The oil we get will pay us back for the war of liberation. Korea. -it is a different situation, because we think he DOES have a nuke. If we piss him off, we are afraid he may sent that to S Korea or Chine, or Japan, or here. The difference with N Korea is this; Their leader is long known for a great deal of talk, but not much action. When he whines enough, or threatens enough the world gives him what he wants. In 94 clinton almost went to war with N korea, but opted for a treaty instead. As you can see that has gotten us no where. Now that the attention is off NK, they have began to act up again. If we give in and give him what he wants, he will act up again further down the line and ask for more. I truthfully think they need to learn that we will not negotiate with them. It is very much like the cold war with NK. I think we will be playing the same games with NK that we did with the USSR before its colapes. You know as well as I we won't invade NK if we KNOW they have nukes. With Iraq, I don't think they have Nukes, but imagine for a minutes if they did and we knew it. Do you think we would invade then? I don't, because SH is stupid enough to detonate one in his own country. I am not brainwashed on the administrations belief that SH was involved in 9/11. I don't think they made a credible case. I do however think there is indirect involvement with $$$ and support of terorism. I think Saudi Arabia should be next, because they not only support terrorism, they create it.

I think you are being a bit vague. This is what bothers me, is the inability of people to "Connect the Dots" and also the belief that they can see the Whole Picture. I am not trying to say you bother me narc, but really, do you think it is that simple. We are just going around hurting people for shits and giggles? It is not like this is a new issue, and I don't want to get political about it, but Clinton was handling through the UN, and the Iraq wanted them out. For a couple years we were trying to figure out what to do, and then 9/11 happened. We went after Al Quada(sp) first, because they directly attacked us. Now, we are going after other terrorists and harborers of terrorist. We have gotten far enough away from 2001 now and everyone seems to forget our cause. That is the american way though. I will respond. What does he have to do with 9/11? - Well, directly i don't think he did it. I do believe $$$ from his government has made its way through the pipeline. He also allows terroist groups support and refuge in his country. And the is "Harboring" We did not ignor him for 12. We tried to contain him with the UN until '98' when the UN was kicked out. The only reason we did not kill him in '91' was because the UN resolution at the time would not allow it. I don't think there are any Nukes either, but do not downplay bio or chem weapons. Look what happened with the anthrax. It didn't kill many, but it really screwed our system up. Here's a thought... Get those perfume sample glass bottles, fill them with some nasty stuff, and mail those. Alot more deadly, and easy to do. If he is making this stuff with the intent to distribute, then there in lies the problem.

Does anyone remember Septermber 11, 2001??? I DO! I remember sitting in NY’s LGA airport with my girlfriend waiting to board a flight at 8:45AM. I remember hearing there was a delay because of a crash… I then remember the airport turning off all there TV monitors in the terminal, but by chance a gentleman behind me had a portable TV, and we watched, with disbelief.. Next I remember an announcement. In a not so calm voice we were told to evacuate immediately, leave there what we brought, and evacuate. I thought to myself, yeah right, I am going to leave my stuff here. Then I saw Pilots and stewardess very quickly leaving the terminal. Someone yelled, ”They hit the Pentagon!!!” “What the Fuck is going on”, I questioned. So my girlfriend and I began to walk. It immediately came to mind that my girlfriends brother was in Manhattan at work. Sometime he has meetings downtown, maybe today, maybe not. We called and called, but what we didn’t know was that the Verizon building was right next ground Zero, and all communications were knocked out. I was in Queens, 2.5 miles from the world trade center. There are unforgettable things from that day, that anyone in the area will never forget. The heat, the smell, all the cabs on the side of the road going no where. I remember asking several taxis for rides. Nearly 60% of cabbies in NY are Muslims, and they were not driving “whitie” anywhere. They were afraid of attacks against them I guess, and I don’t blame them, I know I was pretty angry that day. We walked and walked till finally we found a cab that would drive us to the nearest relative. We ended up on the south end of Queens looking over the water right to Ground Zero. I took pictures of the scene from there. I remember feeling comforted when I looked up and saw 2 fighter jets circling overhead, I had forgot we had those kinds of toys. We finally got in touch with my girls brother, he was walking out of NYC through a tunnel. A stanger offered him a ride and he took it. When was the last time that happened in NY, that perfect strangers would help you out? We sat at Sarah’s aunt hous for hours, watching tv and eating pizza. All the trains were shut down, and the highways a nightmare. I remember thinking, nothing will ever be the same… but I knew we would forget. The president gave a speech and said, no matter where, no matter when we are going after terrorist and those that harbor them. I felt good, no, I felt great. I Found it hard to believe that someone attacked our Capitol, and the retaliation wasn’t immediate. I said, “People are going to die for this. No longer can someone fuck with the US and get away with it”. Now, in light of all that is going on right now in the world people in this country have forgotten what is important to us. Celebrities are speaking out, and demonstrations are taking place all over the country. To that I say, Why? Do these Celeb’s think they have more info than the president? Do they know more, or is their judgment on the subject better than our government? We are at war with whom ever threatens us credibly! I just want to remind everyone that in a 2 hour period on 9/11/01 3000 Americans died. Not American troops, American civilians. Some say innocent people will die in Iraq. It is true, they will. But I would rather see 100,000 dead Iraq’s than another 3000 Americans. We gave Sadaam the chance, we even asked the world for help. He had the chance, actually he has had 18 chances over 12 years, and only he could have stopped this aggression. We said declare all by Dec 8, 2002, and the WORLD agreed. But he didn’t do it, and now he must pay. I know people question the connection between SH and terrorism. That UBL and SH do not like each other. By there is an old saying which reads; “My enemy’s, enemy’s are my friends.” We are threatened, not by him lobbing a missile at us, but maybe by him sneaking one out of the country. The gentlemen in London with the siren (sp?) are now suspected of coming from Iraq. Sadaam is a smart man, and he has been fooling a lot of people for a while. I for one an not willing to let this go on. Just my 2 cents.

See, I think we are all missing the bigger point. Clinton was ok with allowing the UN to keep tabs on Iraq, but when they were kicked out in 98, he felt it was something the next president could deal with. THe thing is it does need to be done, whether we do it or his own people do it. The fact is, Iraq's want to be out of SH rule. Sure, there are some who like SH and are sympathetic, but the vast majority would like to see a regime change. Also, about the oil thing, here is my thoughts. If the world agreed and came to war with the US, then the "cost" of war would be shared. Also, the rewards would be shared. One of the major reasons for war is to get a US stronghold in the Middle East. This is nessesary for the war on terror. We can then build an airbase in Iraq, and stop "NEEDING" Saudi Arabia. Then we can start taking a much better look at how friendly the Saudi's are to us. I think it will bring stability to the region, because places like Qatar and Bahrain admit feeling threatend by SH. THe oil is just a perk, it is not a "reason" for war, but it does make he rewards tast better. Think of this way... The war will caost 100 Billion $$$$ right, well the oil is the repayment from Iraq to us for their liberation. We will not take over all their oil, because it is the countries main income. If we were to take over their oil completely another SH would be in power within a year. This guy needs to go, and according to the AP, North Korea is willing to give SH assylum...yeah that's a great idea!!! Chris
