PLEASE READ THIS ALL BEFORE PASSING JUDGEMENT> I am just slightly outraged!!!! Imagine this for a minute. Without my knowledge, a mother and her daughter have been illegally living in my basement for the past couple of years. Everyday when I went to work, they would sneak upstairs and steal my food and my money. Well, one day I started locking up my food. Several weeks went by, and the family “illegally” in my basement began to starve. One day I came home, and much to my surprise I found the mother in my kitchen holding her dying daughter. She said to me, I have been living downstairs and eating your food, but as of late I have not been able to feed her. If she does not eat she will die. Now I am faced with a decision. I can Call the cops and have her sited for trespassing and kick them out, or I can choose to help and ignore the violation. I choose to help!!! I run to the cabinet and get some peanut butter. She eats and dies on the spot. It turns out she was allergic to PB. Now, the mother turns around and sues me for having poisoned her daughter. Is this “MORALLY RIGHT”? Not legally right, but morally right? The same type of situation is happening right now. A Mexican girl and her MOM were in this country illegally, she needed a heart and lung transplant, and the Doc’s did it at the taxpayer expense. We all know the story… they botched it up, and they put the wrong blood type organ in. The doctors then did a second transplant with the right ones, but the girl died anyway. I am not going to argue that there was negligence on the part of the Docs. This is indisputable, but here is the kicker. These people were here paying NO taxes and living illegally. They went to Duke Univ to get a double transplant for the sick daughter. She would have died with out it, they tried, they failed, and now this freeloader is going to sue and get more of our tax dollars for the trial!!!!! Not to mention get rich after she paid NOTHING for the 2 surgeries. At the same time this was happening a girl by the name of Lauren Averitt was also at Duke Univ medical center waiting a double Lung transplant. She has CF and is dying. Duke said they would give her the operation if she could come up with $50,000 to pay for it. Why should this young citizen of this country have to pay when other foreigners do not????? One of those transplants given to the Mexican girl matched Laurens type. The mother of the Mexican girl was asked when she died if she would donate her daughters organs. This after she received 2 (that’s two) transplants from other people. The mother said NO, you are a bunch of murderers you will get nothing. Everything you say is true, but this too is also true. France used to be a colonizing country, and now it is not. France is weak, very weak, and they are looking for there big moment in the sun. There was a time when france had influence and now they don't. What they are trying to do is proove to themseves is that they still have world dominance. It is like Napolean disease. Bill, lets face it... there is a big difference between a shot across the bow with a conventional weapon, and one with a Nuke. It is all about "almosts" You know the saying.. almost only counts in horseshoes, handgranades, and atomic weaponary!!! If any moron, and I mean ANY, fired a nuclear shot in our general direction... it would be the "End of days". You know that, and I don't care how crazy someones is.... that is a big step to take. Hey, I could be wrong (though it would be the first time :-), but i still think a weak shield is better than no shield. And, I also know for a FACT that this production system is still a workable, modifiable system.

You are crazy... Having a shield does not make one "MORE LIKELY TO SHOOT" one. If that were the thought, then NO cops would wear a bullet proof vest, because wearing one makes criminals more likely to shoot them? A country with a few missiles is not going to waste 30% of its arsenal trying to hit the US. They are going to make DAMN sure they hit thier target. Attempting to lob a nuke at the US is just as bad as actually doing it. The end result will be the same. We will kill them. Chris

I do not in anyway want to come off sounding like a prick, but here is a little inside info from someone who know some of this stuff personally. The media would have you believe it is far worse than it really is. The faults tent to be over-exagerated due to "nonrealistic" testing conditions. The variables at play are great, and yes, it is prone to missing much like the patriot missiles in the Gulf War1. Try shooting a bullet with a bullet!!! However, so much $$$ has been invested in R&D and testing, that the production system needs to be put in place as a cost savings measure!!! So, will it work if a Nuke were launched would it work?? Well if it has a 50% hit rate, several missiles will be launched with the hope at least 1 would hit. Half of the system is a psychological one. If you knew the USA had an anti missile system, would you run the risk of "TRYING" to hit the US and failing? It will cost more to keep testing, and something is better than nothing, especially when the threat is growing. My $.02 Chris

I have to say, as a student, I came close to a past sunset landing. At altitude the sun was up, but on the ground it was set. THe Almanac also confirmed it was set!!! The think I noticed about sunset jumps is, the sun is Fucking bright when it is directly in front of you falling though the sky. So much for keeping my heading. I just turned 90 degrees away from that big orangy glowing ball of light!!!!! Chris
