  1. Done. 5 Jumps yesterday. I'll post a review in the gear section soon.
  2. BETTER BANG FOR YOUR BUCK AERODYNE ICON
  3. I second that motion: MILITARY KIT BAG (AKA AVIATORS KIT BAG)
  4. Understood. I would have brought it this weekend, but I had to work (Reserve duty). I'll be out there Wednesday (10th-1pm) with 5 Tandems from work. Your cell phone still says your out of the country. Linc
  5. Man, I remember those days; 100+ degrees standing in that field. It was hard at times to keep patriotic when all you wanted to do was pass out. Those annoying 1SG's in rear of the formation; I always wondered how they were able to pick-up on every twitch and fidget.
  6. Good Rule. You can never be too safe. I think I'll have my 150 for a while as well.
  7. BONEHEAD BOOMERANG: Light Weight, Freefly and RW friendly.
  8. I always keep in mind; it get here when it gets here. Good info ASS GRABBA
  9. Have you tried their websight? http://www.bragg.army.mil/www-82DV 2/504th PIR (88-92)
  10. Paying attention to detail, when packing, will most likely prevent step-throughs. I pack my own, so I have nobody to blame but myself.
  11. My golden rule: I won't downsize unless I can land it (on me feet) at least 100 times in a row without incident.
  12. Should this poll/post be in the Safety and Training area?
  13. My Icon, w/Pilot canopy, was ordered right after the New Year; it'll be here in a week or two.
  14. I love my Sabre 2. The beauty of it is I can trash pack it and it still opens (as long as I'm stable) on heading with no slammers. The end cells closure; just a few toggle pumps and it's pretty much gone. I will miss it when my new Pilot comes in a couple of weeks or so.
  15. Good Job. Enjoy it and then start setting your sights on a AFF/Tandem Rating.
  16. Cool. I didn't start doing headdown until almost 300 jumps. That's alot better when I did it the first time.
  17. There's a sweet one page ad in this month's Parachutist. Mine should be here in a month or two. GRAVITY GEAR RULES.
  18. Thanks Tad. No wild skydive stories here. I'm still a baby in the sport with years of learning ahead. Whether I make it, or not, I know it will be good training.
  19. I made the mistake of letting someone pack for me all the time soon after I got my A Lic. After the laziness settled in, I lost the skill completely. Now, I pack on my own. I have a golden rule with myself: Stay away from packers and do it yourself.
  20. What doesn't kill you, will make you stronger.
  21. Yea! Your probably right. It'll be good for me, you can't never get enough PT.
