i know my stats: 3 chops in first 36 jumps. first 2 due to shitty student gear and last one cuz i hadn't been trained to hook up a canopy and hooked it up backerds. marcus gave me a good dressing down and havent had one since. i think i got all my cutaways out of the way early on.. namaste, motherfucker.

first a question: what do you call the ring the brake lines go through? after a relatively uneventful deployment i realized that i i could not collapse my slider. somehow the tab sewn on the end of the string had worked itself into the ring, next to impossible to clear and completely bound up the brake line. had to land on rear risers. sure glad the grass was wet. on the ground i looked at it and of course my first reaction is to question my packer, but after just a moment and thankfully before i brought it to her, i realized that it is impossible to be a packing error. anybody ever seen this? namaste, motherfucker.

i got an old sabre135 with a bunchojumps on it. a few repaired seams and a patch or two. as would be expected it responds to input as if i were sending smoke signals. question is, is it silly to consider relining it? namaste, motherfucker.

damn, you guys got me all antsy now. i'm gonna have to find a belly pack and put a ride on my mr150 loaded at 1.3. are the opponents here suggesting that it is an unsafe canopy or to expect structural failures on deployment? namaste, motherfucker.
