    yeah, it is my feeling that last year it was extremely unseasonably cold during that two weeks. i will be suprised if it is anywhere near that cold again. right after yall left it was t-shirt weather for a couple weeks until the canucks showed up and the icecicles were back. wierd. namaste, motherfucker.

    just got home from costa mesa. had a couple beers and met quite a few really cool people, including minifly and westcoastchica. thanks for the heads up lara. was lucky to get there in time to enjoy everyone's set. chris, colleen and dave really laid it down. and the video was dayum cool. saw like 3 perspectives of the whole team skimming down the side of a mountain. turnout from the boards was thin, but a suprisingly enjoyable evening. wish yall were there. namaste, motherfucker.

    well there it is. i guess i was basing that on the experience i had in selecting a electronic compass for my boat and my garmin, about 2 years old, doesnt have one. thanks for the heads up namaste, motherfucker.

    hiya. what it is showing, and most every hand held gps for that matter, is a HEADING, not a cardinal direction. the unit interpolates your head from where you just were and where you are. a compass would require a solid state compass, magnaflux or something or other, size and cost prohibitive. i could be absolutely wrong, but i dont think so. namaste, motherfucker.

    i would suspect that neither of you , iam or alana, have current antivirus software running, as both of your described symptoms are indicative of the latest virus outbreaks. the rpc mechanism that is causing the shutdowns can be disabled by opening services and changing the response type to restart service instead of restart machine. the emails are typical email worm symptoms and will require a cleaning. go to symantec's web site and poke around for a cure. good luck namaste, motherfucker.
