    i don't know about these problems. my 20g has been through some shit for a year and a half and i havent noticed any skipping. the earphone jack is a little fragile. few of the things missing from the old one which i think are on the new is the ability to create playlists on the fly. that really bugs me. and the bottom line is that the ipod is just cool. and hackable. and it holds a lot of data. attached is a list of what might be what is on someones ipod at the moment. r.e. itunes. it's free not a purchase as was stated somewhere earlier in this thread. namaste, motherfucker.
