  1. Well, Cossey was initially describing his chute.. He was told a Pioneer was left behind in the plane and assumed his NB6 was used by Cooper.. Hayden's P2 was bought at a surplus store with the other one,, if the chute Cooper took was a 24' as the card data indicates then it wasn't an NB6/8 as Cossey claimed.
  2. Yes, Hayden's chute left on the plane was never called a NB6/8.. it has been called a civilian luxury chute, a sport chute and a B-4.... It was only the one Cooper used that was called an NB6/8 by Cossey...
  3. Better side by side images,, 1940 Pioneer P1-B24, 24' container on the right.. Hayden's chute left in the plane now at the Washington Museum.. an early 1940's Pioneer P2-B24 a 24' container. This is the update to the P1 with slight changes.. same size, both 24' containers originally had 24' silk chutes.
  4. Why don't you admit you have no evidence. The chute at the museum is not an NB6..it is not a 28' canopy.. it is a Pioneer P2-B-24, a 24' container with a 26' canopy stuffed in it.
  5. Hayden chute card, 26' canopy You can't compare a seat chute.. There is ZERO evidence Hayden's chute at WSHM is a 28'.. NONE It is a P2,, it says so on it, they are 24 ft containers,, they were early 1940's and originally had silk chutes. It is stuffed with a 26' chute, visually and per the packing card.... making it look slightly bigger. Perspective,, it is small, a Pioneer 24' P2 stuffed with a 26'.. This is a 1940 Pioneer P1-B-24 (label) a 24' container that preceded Hayden's updated early 40's Pioneer P2... same size slightly updated design.. This is also a 24'
  6. The chute returned to Hayden is a Pioneer P2-B-24' container with a 26' chute... not an NB6 Cossey claimed Cooper's chute was the NB6/8 but that is probably not true. Cooper used the 24'.
  7. How do you know. The container is a 24' The card originally written by Cossey says 26' and was repacked twice.. as a 26' Can you even put a 28' in a 24' container??
  8. Well, only two people knew what actually happened,,, If Cooper was caught, maybe some money is missing he could say hey I gave that stew a few packets of cash.. I can only speculate,, but IMO, the narrative does not make sense. Something else is going on.
  9. Can't see your pic, is it the one where she is holding the book... but she has a purse here..
  10. Tina asked for some ransom money, took it then returned it claiming company no tip policy.. not believable.. that is not duress and she would not have taken it in the first place. She suddenly remembered the policy after she took it. After Tina informed Cooper of the no tip policy he tried to tip $19 between all three stews.. not believable.. I don't know what is going on but the narrative is not correct. BTW.. there is a no tip policy.
  11. IMO, the inside edge of the card pocket would be better to test..
  12. In this case it is isn't just a few inconsistencies, elements of the narrative are not believable..
  13. It is a 26' stuffed into a 24' container...
  14. Always possible but then she would have gotten two things wrong.. The wrong stew and Flo said she returned for her purse as she was leaving the plane,, Tina said she asked if they could leave after she got her purse.. IMO, something is being covered up with an inconsistent narrative... I believe Cooper offered them all ransom money and they made the excuse that it was tip money... Tina used the no tip policy to claim she returned it. We don't know if they took any or not.. but their story doesn't add up. Cooper has 200 k and offers them $19 tip money to split 3 ways AFTER Tina told him they don't accept tips due to company policy.. no way, there is something else going on.
  15. Flo stuffed Cooper's note in her purse. Flo grabbed a pen from her purse when she dictated the note for Cooper. When Flo was leaving she had forgotten her purse and went back for it. Alice also left her purse in the back near Cooper.. There is no mention of Tina's purse and odd that Alice's purse was in the back when it wasn't her section.. It is also strange that Alice got her purse from the back then turned and left with Flo but Flo forgot her purse and had to return. but the purses were left next to Cooper and he had the opportunity to drop money in their purses.. Something isn't right between Tina asking for money, taking it then returning it claiming a no tip policy, later all the stews refusing the drink money tip $19 between them, about $6 each.. ridiculous... and Flo and Alice refusing ransom money according to some reports.. and the two purses left in the back with Cooper.
  16. The packing card went with the chute to the WSHM...
  17. Try what, they lost the hair.. there is no proof it is even Cooper's and if they did find it the FBI has no incentive to process it.. Cooper is dead by now if he survived the jump so the case is dead for them. My impression dealing with them is that they just want it to go away. IMO, the best shot at forensics is Hayden's parachute at the Museum.. still a long shot. Cooper reached into the tight pocket and removed the packing card,, the edge should have DNA.. only a few others since would have done that and you don't have to deal with the FBI.
  18. Everyone needs to be reminded of this document... It sums up why this case is so difficult, in 1976, pre DNA. The only way to 100% solve this is having evidence beyond the FBI files or to find matching DNA.. Matching DNA may not even be possible. Current DNA is partial and mixed,, and may not even be from Cooper.. New DNA resting might be better but there is no guarantee. There are those that seem to think this case can be solved with the "Science".. that is extremely unlikely and may be impossible at this point.. Short of forensic evidence, all we have is competing theories. "hard physical evidence is extremely limited" "strength of eyewitness identification... was weak" "it would be extremely difficult to "make the case" if he was uncooperative"
  19. What is your argument? Cooper... Was in the military but skipped knot training.. Was not in the military and.. Was rejected by Scouts due to his swarthy complexion, smoking and protruding lower lip not able to get his knot tying badge he developed a grudge. Unable to live with that grudge Cooper hijacked a plane to prove he did deserve that Scouts badge..
  20. The bevel needs to be on the pin side.. front of tie
  21. No, it is reason.. You learn knots in the military and there is evidence he had military experience. Tying a bag up and to yourself in a parachute jump is not easy..
  22. Grey said the guy next to Kloepfer was drunk,, he could have been making it up so I wondered who it was..
  23. Doubt it. He had to have a high level of confidence in his knots... or he would have demanded that knapsack..
  24. who was seated next to Kloepfer
