    Anybody know which plane he jumped from the 1st time? Bueller? Phree beat me to it... (I thought it was a CASA - guess it was a Skyvan).     Ok, had to get that out in the open!!! I love this show. Such hopes and dreams in these young singers. Such a tough road ahead for them. It's a decent program now that all the ash and trash has been weeded out! Call me a dork... don't care!

    Yeah, me too. It felt weird gettin' on a plane w/out something on my back. I just tightened the leg straps on the tandem harness for that warm fuzzy feeling! Once I was hooked up in the plane, it was all ok.

    Ok, that's what I tried after my BM jump. Will definitely try what you said. Chuck and I might be in Opelika this weekend for his Dad's B-Day. Still up in the air. That's why I'm pushing for him to hit The Farm 1/2 May!

    I agree with everyone here. I skipped my B and went straight to my C. Then I got stuck in that transition period but most events require 200 jumps which is now a C license (used to be a D). When I get to 500, I'm sure I'll apply for a D.

    John, glad you added that. I hadn't stalled my canopy before and tried last weekend. I could not stall it without wrapping the toggles twice around my hand. I've spoken to another girl my size with the same situation. Question: Is this a bad thing? I have 18" risers and have no problems reaching up or flaring nicely on my Sabre2 150. Am I losing some performance of my canopy by not being able to reach my stall point? Katie Get your PMS glass necklace here

    Turning over power to the Iraqi's is an important political move to fulfill a promise made prior to American "invastion". The U.S. Army and Coalition partners were not sent Iraq to occupy, they were there to liberate. The Iraqi government needs to be afforded the opportunity to stand on it's own. The transition of power is imperative! Anyone remember Somalia? What did the President do when soldiers started dying? He pulled out. So, the message sent to the world was if enough resistance is met and American soldiers die then we'd pull out (because a President was governed by polls). Bush is not doing that. He is following through with what we started (even at the unfortunate loss of American lives). If he pulls out now, what message are we sending to terrorist organizations?
