I don't know how many more times I can say what a great time we had in NJ. First of all, many thanks to John E. for his hospitality. There were no more RV slots available so he put us out next to the fuel truck with our camper facing the main landing area right in between the swoop pond and hanger. We definitely had the best spot in the house! The Rancho Deluxe became a gathering spot more than once over the course of a week. Monkeyclaw was equally hospitible. Thanks Damo, Adam, and Heath for your hospitality. Heath and Shanie - great wedding party. Thanks so much for the invite. Had it not been for you I'd never have known what that Vegan stuff was! Let me also say that the folks that work there (some who post here too) work harder than almost any other dropzone I've ever been at. One tandem master made 17 jumps on a Sunday! Selwyn and Will - you guys are my hero's. How 'bout those cleaning rounds, huh? Cross Keys is truly da bomb diggity! I made 23 jumps there from the 24th - 30th. Those guys skydive so hard but know how to kick it up at night! I didn't get to any of the girls because all of my jumps were training jumps but there sure are some nice girls up there! Have fun!!! Katie Get your PMS glass necklace here

Just need to vent... I didn't go to work today because I thought I'd actually get to make a sky-jumpy but after sitting around until after 1 I knew it wasn't going to happen. Not enough people for the Otter and students on the Cessna. Basically I'm totally out of the mood to be productive now but I came home anyways to about 6 loads of laundry, a dirty house, and a dog with fleas! The FF2 camera helmet I paid for 10 weeks ago is still not in! I have to go back to work tomorrow which is going to include enduring a lot of bullshit including a Jumpmaster refresher course and spending a lot of time in a hot and tarred motorpool because apparently I'm going to be the new Battalion Maintenance Officer! What do I know about HMMWV's (High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle) and trailers??? I think I'm just not ready to head back to reality... coctails anyone??? :23:several Had 2 great weeks up in NJ. First let me say that Cross Keys has such an incredible vibe! Those boys work hard, jump until sunset EVERYDAY, and get their party on right! 23 awesome head down coach jumps with Dave Brown - yes, I've gone to the dark side! Beer owed and bought for my first time going head down, first time getting coached, first time jumping at Cross Keys, first time attending a PST meet.... the list could go on for days! Well, we're hitting the road again and heading North. Hopefully we won't deal with humidity and heat like we're having in NC and Georgia. 2:5:2 2 is the number of tires I blew on the Rancho Deluxe on my way to my first CSL meet at Skydive Carolina (Chester, SC). Made 1 practice jump with my new team and then 4 jumps during the competition. 2 cases bought for first 4-way meet and first time in Chester!
