From what I've heard, it's a lot easier going from high elevations to low elevations. At higher elevations your airspeed is much faster in comparison to lower altitudes so your reaction times must be quicker and there is smaller room for error. When you go to a lower elevation, you wont be flying so fast, and your landing should be much slower than you're used to.

Wow, that is a touching poem. Reminds me of my grandmother who's had dimentia for several years, and is now in a high security home for dementia/alzheimers patients. I miss who she was

...Next Wednsday through Saturday, save for thursday afternoon, family dinner and whatnot. I WAS gonna go see a couple of friends I've been talking to online, for the first time, and show then around the DZ, but it turns out their plans are taking them elsewhere. I need something to do, and it doesn't look like it will be nice enough to skydive. Any fellow Portland area skydivers care to show me around SDO? I haven't been there yet, and it's always easier to make friends at a DZ if you're hangin' out with a regular. Any shows, exhibits, movies, plays, museums, anything at all that you're going to next week that I could tag along at, and meet some new people? I'm tired of the same thing every day, I need to know more people. Anyone?? Bueler? Edited to add: I ski/snowboard, inline skate, do long distance bicycle trips, I'm 18 so can't do the bar/club thing (and can't dance so the club thing is way out) I like pretty much every form of music out there.

I used to golf, but never regularly. Here's a tip though, before you grip the club, rotate it slightly counter-clockwise if your swinging right handed, if you're using left handed clubs, rotate it slightly clockwise. What is happening is the ball is rolling lateraly, off the end of the club, you might also try standing a little closer to the ball when you swing.

That would be Tears Of The Sun starring Bruce Willis. There were two skydivers that landed out, one was Geoff Farrington, DZO of Kapowsin Airsports, the other was Michael Barber of SDA.
