  1. Muenkel: I am not familiar with your story. So sorry. Do you have BPPV? I've had it for 7 months now. It is much better. PM me.
  2. Funny you should type that! When I had about 6 months of golf practice under my belt, my boyfriend (golf pro & multi-thousand jump skydiver) & I went golfing. I got so frustrated at one point he took me by the shoulders and looked me square in the eyes. "Stick to skydiving, you're better at it." was his advise. At the time, I had about 15 jumps. Didn't say a lot about my golfing, but I never looked back in going forward with my skydiving!
  3. Yep - meat is on the dinner table at least 3 nights a week, sometimes more.
  4. Very good, very good
  5. I don't have a kidney transplant. We run the DZ school here in Raeford. I've had one guy come through to do a tandem that had a kidney transplant in the past, but not to learn and continue on with the sport. No problems, he had a great time Good luck! Keep us posted.
  6. You have that wrong - Yes, we do know where you have been, but you are crazy. Welcome to the club of crazies.
  7. ok, ok, I'm begging now. P-L-E-A-S-E! I can't believe this front as stalled on top of us. My Mother in Chicago is boasting 50 degrees. We just dropped 3 degrees to 33 F. So now I don't have a mixure of rain and sleet - it's back to snow and sleet! This is going to completely destroy Saturday
  8. I keep score. I don't even cheat. I just stick with my rule of a maximum 10 points per hole! That way any score under 180 is a good day. Besides, the better you are at the sport, the less you get to hit the ball. So the expert swings 65 times and I get over double that! Looks like I get more for my money.
  9. Would you like some? We have lots. We rarely get more than a few inches total for the year. The last few winters have been a bit more. It is still sleeting/raining!
  10. Yep - they talked about that on the show. Training was from 12.5 with O2, but actual jumps are from as high as 35,000 ft When do you get to Fayetteville??
  11. I am soooooo tired of missing work. BLAST! Did I type that? I must be crazy. Photos of our winter wonderland this morning. 8" of snow, then sleet and rain for the last 13 hours on top of the snow and it is still sleeting/raining.
  12. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=946072;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread It was a great show
  13. Corey Paul - This is an official invitation to come to Raeford. We'd love to cure that chronic turn! Favorite line: "I was sure glad that wasn't me." Comment made by Raeford's very own, Billy Lauterbach when talking about a tumbling student (for several thousand feet) that he was filming in freefall. Great show. I think it promotes military freefall activities and skydiving in general well.
  14. Leave But that will probably work only once or twice before they catch on. Good luck!
  15. Welcome french guy! I think you folks in Vancouver lost some of your snow and cold in North Carolina today. Could you please come and get it? I'd like to skydive this week. Thanks!
  16. With 8 plus inches of heavy wet snow, TThac & I just got home from playing in the snow with our ATV's. Great fun in the woods, etc. Pulled out one neighbor's car from a ditch!
  17. Cool! Welcome to the sport and glad you found dz.com. Thanks to Sangrio - at least posting here is free. Enjoy!
  18. Well glad to see I'm not that hard to figure out! You got it girl. We get more comments on it. Thanks for your talent
  19. http://www.aprilslens.com/Photo_Gallery.html Got to admit, this is my favorite page on her web site. We have several of her prints in our school. Of course my favorite is hanging in our home.
