  13. there is a nice new bunk house on the DZ ,think its about €5 per night , Alternatively you can stay in Ma's B&B ,15 minutes walk from DZ but its within crawling distance of Richies pub
  14. I had a case of this recently , problem was battery contacts ! If the + contact (the top one )is not protruding enough into battery compartment you need to prise it out a little with a very small screwdriver ,careful though ,dont want to snap it off If you are not comfortable with this contact your local field support guy http://www.alti-2.com/FieldSupportLocatorPages/_Australia.htm
  15. These guys produce some good looking escape systems ,http://www.conceptsafety.com/ they use a static lined paradactyl ( e-vest )for 40m+ and a rappel type device ( e-rope ) for lower exit
  16. Aerograd is pretty good ,Staff are really friendly and helpful too . we were there for 2 weeks last July . Good aircraft & facilities ( can do 10-14 jumps per day with 1 rig ) and unbeatable prices ,€8 jumps and €2 pack jobs ,although I think the jump prices are going up this year Anybody know if they are putting in a pond for this season ?
  17. Surprise! Surprise! The website appears to have been removed! This whole thing is very suspicious
  18. Definitely not real ,its a small country with a very small skydiving population , We all know each other and would know if there was a turbine DZ operating in out back yard ! Dont know any of the staff either ,specially the ones who are supposed to be Irish A skydiving friend of mine lives in Maam Cross in Connemara and I think she would notice a " twin turbo-engined ???" Grand Caravan flying over her house Also all the aircraft photos appear to come from the Cessna website ? Could just be a student project but would love to know what these guys are up to .
  19. Watched TTN11 today Man you guys are sick Love your work dude , Keep it coming
  20. I would recommend the Neptune ,I have put about 250 jumps on my Neptune and 350 on a pro-track ,the Neptune is way better .it is years ahead of anything out there , its cheaper , and their customer service is fantastic ( I also had a cracked screen replaced for free ) had a couple of little teething problems at the beginning but the newer software versions are bullet proof ! it records speed at 12 ,9 ,6 ,3 and overall average .the recording altitudes can also be changed by an alti2 service rep
  21. Can you make it over to Grand Canaria ? there is a rockin boogie planned for this christmas . The boogie ends January 3rd but the turbine aircraft will not leave until around the 5th of January . After that they will still have a 206 and a helicopter http://jump-for-life.com/boogie.htm I think they also operate in Tenerife from time to time check out http://jump-for-life.com/eng/where.html
