  1. Correction...displeased with you. Because you touch yourself. Bwahahaha!!!! NOT a personal attack - nothing personal whatsoever!! I just couldn't help it!!! Ah jeez, I crack myself up. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
  2. 1280 by 1024 here. I just got a new 19-inch flat-panel from IT. It's huge, and it swivels, and goes up and down, and looks all space-agey and it sucks. All the colors are washed out, like there's a bright backlight, and no matter how much I adjust brightness, contrast and color, the paler shades just look white. Grr. That is all. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
  3. Thanks for posting that, skygazer. I was thinking the same thing. Thanks to all who are serving (or have served) our country, especially those in combat/dangerous situations. My prayers are with each and every one of you to stay safe, complete your missions and come home to us. May all of our fallen be at peace.
  4. Wow. That was incredibly sobering. They (under communist rule) didn't even tell the firefighters, cops, and helicopter pilots what kind of disaster they were rushing in to fight - they all just dutifully headed straight into the gamma inferno and died. They didn't tell the citizens of Russia that anything had even happened at first. The last pictures are the most wrenching. I was eleven years old when that happened, but I never really knew just how insanely horrible it was until now... you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
  5. I haven't slept for ten days. You know, 'cause that would be way too long. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
  6. Whoops! Didn't see this on the front page. Here you go! you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

    Cute picture

This is NOT political. I just wanted to post a pic of Dave The Dwarf skydiving. He's running for congress apparently, and this was on his pics page. JT, you were wondering where the little people were in our sport - here you go! He's having a blast! http://www.davethedwarfforcongress.com/ you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
  8. AWESOME!!! I KNEW someone here had to be on that jump! Did you see the special? I think it was on Bravo or AMC... Thanks for identifying yourself! That looked like a real blast. blues, RC you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
  9. Oh come on! I'm dyin' ovah heah! It was a whole plane full of skydivers dressed like Frankenstein - one of you must know. Yeah, maybe this should be in TalkBack, but... Besides, it is skydiving related... you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
  10. Sweet idea - elegantly solves two problems at once. Plus, I paid my fee late last week! Also, a 'member since _' rating is a great idea. I have another idea for that, but I'll take it to the other thread. Thanks HH, for all you do. I miss TalkBack, like everyone does, but it's time to revamp. This shouldn't have to be so much of a chore for you and the mods. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
  11. So, I'm sitting here, watching a documentary about the 25th anniversary of Young Frankenstein (one of my all-time favs, by the way), and what do I see? A plane load of skydivers dressed as Mel's monster, climbing in to go jump! They showed them in the plane, screaming "Pu-ing onna Riiiizzz" (that's "Putting on the Ritz" in monsterese), they showed a two-way linked monster exit, and also a landing. What an unexpected place to find our ilk!! So, which ones of you was it??? you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
  12. Right there with ya'! It's been three months for me, I've dropped my rig off for a repack, and I'll be getting back up Easter weekend. I am nervous, but I know it's going to be like I never stopped. I figure I'll approach my recert. like a newbie student (well, I AM still a newbie), and focus on reabsorbing everything. It's gonna rock! I'm gonna be a skydiver again!! you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
  13. Oh! Well, isn't that cute. And a funny looking word to boot. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

OK. Whew. I can deal. Soon, my ADD will kick in, and I won't be able to distinguish two weeks from forever. No use hoppin' around that long, so I'll bide my time, and ooh, hey, something shiny... you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

He's sooo yummy, I won't hold that against him... Just kidding. I was raised in Germany myself, and was told the same thing about my German accent this weekend. It was really nice to hear. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

LOVE that show! Jennifer Garner is amazing! I have the biggest straight crush on her. Yeah, Lauren thinks she's secured Vaughn, but we all know she'll get hers, don't we? Sydney is gonna shove that annoying little overbite down Lauren's throat before too long. Yay! Reminds me of that psych test: A woman meets the man of her dreams at her mother's funeral, but he leaves before she finds out how to contact him. A week later, she kills her sister - why? you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
  19. And we do have the Women's Texas State record coming up this summer at Spaceland's Skyfest, no? you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
  20. Yeah! Got 'em all. Damn New England and all their itty bitty little states. Shee-it, Rhode Island is the size of my neighborhood... Just kidding, I think. Lemme check it out... Population: RI: 1,069,725 Hou: 4,177,646 Size: RI: 1,045 sq.miles Hou: 5,995 sq.miles Uh, no, I wasn't kidding. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

  24. A bit cynical, but damn funny! WORDS of WISDOM A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Of course, so does falling down a flight of stairs. You can do anything if you want it bad enough. That is why we see so many people who can fly. Never say die. I've tried, and it doesn't actually make people die. Never under-estimate your ability to over-estimate your ability. Laughter is the best medicine, but in certain situations the Heimlich maneuver may be more appropriate. While others complain that their glasses are half empty, find joy in the fact that yours is half full. Just make sure it's twice as big as everyone else's glass. It takes a village to raise a child to hate all of the people in the next village. Dare to dream the impossible. I mean, why not? Dreaming doesn't take any effort. The key to someone's heart is never lost; it's just that the locks were changed 'cause you're some sort of psycho. You have to learn to crawl before you can grovel. Each dawn brings us a fresh start, because we never freakin' learn, do we? You've got to kiss a lot of frogs before you find the prince. But he probably isn't going to be interested in some frog-kisser. Every failure is a step to success up a ladder that will eventually collapse under the weight of all those failures. True beauty is on the inside, where no one will ever see it. One person can make a difference, if that person is, like, Bill Gates or whatzisname, the speaker of the House of Representatives. Every dog has his day. Of course, his day consists of smelling other dogs' butts. You can run but you can't hide, except apparently along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
  25. Conway, I am so sorry to hear that. I'm glad the outlook is good and that it won't take more than six weeks. I imagine that cath. is pretty unconfortable, but you're right, it's better than not having that option. Stay positive, and keep upbeat! In the meantime, you've got my vibes and prayers, OK? I might just see you this weekend... you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
