I have been a bit more conservative with DL'ing music since all this started up. Probably keep on doing it though. I have nowhere near the ~1000 files they speak of, so I guess I've got some time.... What I find comical is that now the music industries are being ripped off and they are bitching and complaining about it. They have been ripping off consumers with overpriced CD's for years and now the shoe is on the other foot. Only difference is those big companies have the ability to do something about it. I can see 2 outcomes of all this. As was said before, people will hide their identity and continue to DL music or the lawsuits will continue and people will sign up on these file sharing sites for a fee. You know, pay an amount every month and get unlimited DL's. Either way CD sales will continue to drop and eventually go the way of the 8 track tape. What does everyone else think? I've been thinking about this situation since I retured to school .

I agree completely. Screw the coach and the other folks. You paid for this room, it's your room for the semester. Tell whoever you need to to look elsewhere to solve their problems.

0:3:0 Jump 2 this weekend was fine until deployment and was pleased to see multiple line twists greeting me. And jump 3 I botched the landing big time. But I walked away so no harm done. This jump is why I do, and will for a while longer, jump sky barges.

Didn't work either. Did all and clicked on "Always use this program to open these files", clicked OK, then the computer tried to install MS Office from a CD. This really sucks. I've had nothing but problems with this damn computer since I got it.

Didn't fix the problem. Updated everything about 2 weeks ago. No viruses.

Windows ME Did that, found the xls extension, but it looked ok.

I'm having a problem with Excel. When I click on an excel file, the computer tries to load MS Office from a CD I don't have. Even the Excel icon on the desktop didn't work. I managed to fix the desktop icon by replacing it, but excel files still won't open. However, if I click on the excel desktop icon and open excel first, then I can click on the excel files and they work fine. Anyone have any ideas how I can make these excel files work without first having to open excel?

I second that. Shop around. Buying a rig is like buying a car. You don't buy the first one you see. I did that, and regret it every day. Used gear is the way to go on a first rig IMHO. It would suck to go out and buy a brand new spiffy container and biff one landing and get it all dirty. Granted you can wash it, but still.... You also save a buttload of $$ that can be used on more jumps.

Yup, my ass is still bleeding from all the times I've been f%#*ed buying books. Buy a $120 book, and get $30 at the end of the semester. Then the bookstore turns around and sells that book for $80. Fortunately, for the last few semesters the profs told us to buy the class notes instead of the books. They usually run $20-$30. These notes are usually better than the book anyway. Books have always been a rip off, and it always will. Just like the cost of a semester at college. Administrators jack you with all those dumbass fees that add an extra $600 to your tuition. Oh hell with it, I'm getting pissed just thinking about it.

I wouldn't say it more difficult. Look at NASA, they are trying to do more and more, such as keeping the shuttles flying, space station construction, mars missions, a replacement for the shuttle before they canned it, and they are doing this with less and less money. You can only stretch a dollar so far. This catch phrase they are using, faster, better, cheaper, (I think that's it, I don't remember) may not be the way to go. This won't change until space travel becomes more of a priority than it is now. Maybe then the annual budget for NASA will get a boost.
