  2. 1-Saturn 2-Shark 3-Spring 6-Helicopter Trying saving the pics, open them and enlarge them to fill the screen. Knowing what they are will not help. If you try to focus on the 'hidden' image, it will pretty much keep you from seeing it. Once you see them, it's hard not to see them. While keeping your gaze on the pic, stand up, back up from the computer and move around the room. Tips for Viewing 3-D Stereograms 1. Pick a spot on the picture (the middle seems to work best) and just stare at it. 2. Allow your eyes to relax, don't just stare AT the image, try to stare THROUGH it. You'll notice your eyes will go slightly out of focus. This is normal. 3. Keep staring, don't give up, once you begin to see the first image, it gets much easier. 4. If you are still having trouble viewing the stereograms, please see: http://www.eyetricks.com/stereograms/stereowhy.htm If you enjoy stereograms, here are some more to play with: http://www.eyetricks.com/3dstereo.htm http://www.ccc.nottingham.ac.uk/~etzpc/gif.html Have fun! 3. Bet you can Look at it this way You're flying toward 6-way base on an slow, smooth 30-way. You're 25th. You don't look at your slot, you open your gaze to take in the whole (3-D) picture. Now ... Open your gaze through the pic don't focus relax Don't be goal oriented (tell him, girls ) Don't look for the image. Stare through it at allow it to form. Once you get it, it's amazing. Good luck, Michael
  4. Hmmm, I'm guessing Jeff did not limit his request for votes to his own gender before asking the other for help. That's kind of a 'not' thing, don't you think? Michael
  5. I don't think you're a constitutional scholar either. Being a constitutional scholar is like studying Latin ...sure, it has historical significance but it's dead.
  6. The standard used to be 'Clear and Present Danger' Now it's, 'we think what you said is clearly irritating' Michael
  7. I distrust all politicians. I dislike (in the extreme) what Dubyah is doing to my country. I'd much rather having my president getting his dick sucked in the oval office than one giving it's citizens rectal exams. Having said that, I don't give a shit about Bill or Hillary. Kerry is just the only viable means to stop this before our nation is gone. If I can use him to this purpose, I will. They'e politicians, dude! Stop reacting like someone said your child was ugly. Michael
  8. Of course you did ...my bad. Michael
  9. Ahhh, the 'you made me hit you, whorthless bitch' rationale. Michael
  10. Calmness here. You asked a rhetorical question. I gave you a rhetorical answer. Michael
  11. Ahhh, but how about those who say things you respect, but do things you don't? Or those that say things you don't respect, but do things you do? I'd still rather be dealing with someone who makes clear their intentions, than someone who lies and cheats to get their way. Dude, we're talking about politicians here! Michael
  12. Dude, did you realize that we have now made it legal for govt agents to make people disappear in the night????? I wonder if there is an offical memo floating around Homeland Security banning the wearing of brown shirts ...or if it's just a understood sort of thing. Michael
  13. If you're doing it to feel good, cool. Helping them, you ain't. Michael
  14. Man, attitudes like this scared me in the 60's and still give me cold chills. Attitudes that take an American exercising his right to voice his opinions and question the ethics and actions of his government in a public forum ...is somehow less of an American???? America! Love it of leave it? Life ain't that simple, dude. Michael
  15. I've seen and experienced this many times over the years. My answer is always the same, "sorry you choose to behave in this most dishonorable manner, cya ...if you ever see how out of line you are, give me a call, I'd love to jump here again." Michael

    Last Night

Last night I saw something rare and wonderful. Confronted with the unthinkable, I saw a family come together in love and support of each other. I knew they would as soon as I walked in the room ...just like you can tell who's the strong one, the one who can take the cold, hard truth and help the others to cope. Beautiful but not so rare, you may think. It is, really. My heart goes out to the family in this most trying time. Keep focused on your mutual love as you mourn your daughter. Michael
  17. Dude! Diets don't work ...and the one above is pure bullshit. Don't put yourself through the stress, give it up now and eat some food! Michael
  18. I find it wierd that you give such unquestioning support to an administration that lies, is obsessed with secrecy, engages in pre-emptive foreign wars, is building an empire, and has no fiscal responsibility, all of which are contrary to the values embued as American by the Founding Fathers. The Bush/Cheney administration is the most un-American in recent history. Some people are just wired that way, John. Not much you can do about it. Michael
  19. Agreed. And that's just a start. Guys should be able to do all that, overhaul a synchro transmission, cut down full-grown trees, change struts and ball joints, do quantum mechanics problems in their heads, fly a plane and helicopter, and work a sewing machine too! A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects. -- Lazarus Long in Time Enough For Love
  20. Well, you could wait 6-8 weeks. If it doesn't get better, you've probably torn ...something. I damaged my knee last fall. Still hurts periodically (now!). I wear a knee brace when I jump and sometimes at work. Best of luck to you. Michael
  21. I think guys and gals should be free to make their own choices. But then, I'm a guy and a Registered Nurse, so what do I know? Michael
