I was going to post that you should get gear and skip Eloy/come to the WFFC next year, but I just read your last post... I hope this doesn't sound judgemental - I'm not your Instructor. Are you ready for all new gear? Maybe you should go to Eloy, rent/borrow gear, get some more jumps, so you'll know what kind of gear you need; then get your new gear later, when you have a better idea what you really want/need in gear. What an awesome opportunity you have with the 'Rents buying you new gear! I sure wish I had someone to buy me new gear! If you can do Eloy, make some jumps there, get new gear (just delayed a little - which I think makes sense for you), and stili do WFFC next year - sounds like a pretty sound plan! If you get a chance, stop in St. George, SC on your way through. It's close to I-95, and there's a great bunch of people there. Give them a call 877-RIPCORD to see what's going on. The laws of physics are strictly enforced.

My girl is 9 years younger than I am. Never really considered it a factor for or against her. She's got everything I want/need, so I don't care how many birthdays she's had. The laws of physics are strictly enforced.

Yea, when you play enough Dungeons and Dragons to black out - it's time to quit. The laws of physics are strictly enforced.

Were you at the Halloween Boogie, when Bobby walked around shaking beer cans, to determine who could and couldn't still jump? He came around to me - I had a fresh beer - shook my beer and said "You can jump..." as I burst out laughing - It was my third and I was pretty high, as the clouds broke up. What a crazy place Barnwell was - back in "the day." The laws of physics are strictly enforced.

Actually his name is "MalOlar" - when he jumped a lot his ass was notorious for needing a fresh gerbil (sorry, Bile)... The laws of physics are strictly enforced.

9 is typically my targeted number. Unless we're talking BASE jumps - 3 is nice for a days work. Now if we're talking about jumps with my girl... The laws of physics are strictly enforced.

DZ folks started calling me "Freak" when there were just a couple of us freeflying (or trying, I should say). Fortunately a guy named "Freak" came for a Boogie a couple of years ago - and never left - so they went back to calling me Cajones. Here's an interesting twist... The DZO keeps teetering on the names issue. He feels it's "unprofessional" to call people "Freak" or "Cajones" and wants the staff to call each other "Jason" and "Ed." Whaddya' think? Not just no, but HELL NO! I've got better control than I did at 20. The problem became finding a partner with the stamina to go for more than half-an-hour. "You gotta' finish - you're killing me!" Poking their fingers into my hips, trying to crawl backwards - how annoying! Okay, before I get carried away... I think it just gets better. Especially for most women. They have all sorts of stigmas when they are young. They discover sex is a great thing, and shed those inhibitors. I believe that is a big part of why they seem so much "better" after 25 - they know what they want/like! Can I get a halleluah?!?!?! The laws of physics are strictly enforced.

Maybe you could publish an official list of assholes. It'd save some of us a little time if we happen to visit another DZ. Get healed up, so you can make it an official part of your Quest. The laws of physics are strictly enforced.

I have tried the wuffo scene. Works for some, but not for me. Thank good karma for putting me together with an incredible skydiving woman. I'm not going to get sappy telling you what a kickass person she is. The important fact for this thread is that she's a skydiver. And, I'll add - a damn good one. Freefly like an angel. My lifestyle is so far from "normal" it's hard to understand people who don't skydive. The only way to make a relationship work, is to share everything. I'm so very fortunate to have a woman I can share the most important parts of my life with - as an equal! The laws of physics are strictly enforced.

I only got 3 in this weekend. Only jumped on Saturday, actually. All hop-n-pops. Last one was a water landing, too. Oh, well - I did check the spot. Had a belly-mount camera, and one on my head. Both are just fine, though. Oh, yea - they were from a bridge. The laws of physics are strictly enforced.

What a relief! For a minute there, I thought you were giving her some very bad stigmas she'd have to work very hard to shed... The laws of physics are strictly enforced.

Great photos, but I may have to turn you in for child abuse... "I yell, "Arch, arch!" but she hasn't gotten it yet. "... She'll be ruined before she can even get any altitude! That's like teaching her left-is-right and right-is-left, or that cows are horses and horses are apples, etc... Pure, unadulterated, child abuse!... Unless you are teaching her about pull time - in that case, it'd be okay... The laws of physics are strictly enforced.
