I don't know how to do all that stuff! Hell I still haven't figured out how to attach pictures or put up clicky's and stuff. I'm lucky I can turn this damn thing on. Reminds me of an IT fix-it juob I had earlier this year on campus. Oooooold Professor with minor problems to me (major to him). I said, "See that button there?" He says, "Yea, that's the power button, right?" I replied, "Yea, now NEVER TOUCH THAT AGAIN!" Problem has since been solved (we do alot of remote assistence, and it seems every time he had a problem, he had turned off his computer, and we already in his car heading home. ) It's your life, live it! After my second motorcycle accident (95 Yamaha FiZzeR 600) which was a head on into 97 Ford (?)Topaz(?), my wife told me if I sold the bikes, dropped the M endorsement off my license, and promised never to even think about buying another bike, that I could skydive all I wanted, as she now honestly believes it to be a safer sport than riding. Who am I to argue? For the record, she's never jumped, and will never jump. I just finally got her to ride on Mullin's plane last year and, well, let's just say that she didn't fully clear her ears. The hours of pain after that ride pretty much killed any chance I'l get her on a plane again. (I'm still trying for a Cessna, in the student position though....) It's your life, live it! (You too, Iwan) I didn't say "needs", people, but with todays prices, why pay slightly less for considerably less quality. For example, I've used a friends 6.1mp Kodak, and I was simply amazed at the quality, for under 300 bucks. Why pay 300 for a 4mp or so, when you can have 6mp for the same price? Just because 4mp might be ok to start shooting with does NOT mean that anything over that is overkill. Look for the highest rating in your price range. It's your life, live it! Also, that news article states that they committed violations before the crash. Hmmm, they don't list any legal violations, at all. What they do list are violations of company policy. Sure, that's enough to get fired (if they had survived), but not anything that's going to get them a fine (or whatever) from the FAA. p.s. I'd like to know why they were unable to restart engines that were supposed to be restartable if they stalled at high altitude, after FOUR attempts. It's your life, live it! I just cannot agree with your mp vs. quality generalizations. Mp ratings are nothing more than vague guidelines. I have (had?) a 2.1Mp Vivitar that wasn't good enough (in my opinion) to email, much less call it equivilent to 35mm film. The general agreement today is that to equal the quality of 100iso 35mm film, you need an 11mp camera with excellent optics. I will repeat, with today's technology and prices, there is no reason to buy below 5mp, and really, look at the 6mp and up cameras. It's your life, live it!
