The only "specialty" that didn't show was the sikorsky chopper. It's on a government contract at the moment. What would you do as an owner? WFFC and probably make fuel costs back, or government work? It's also pretty sad when I see jumpers destroy properties that is not theirs. For example, the runway lights, and the fence by the showers. Good god people, park that golf cart and walk a few feet rather then destroy the fence so you can drive your golf cart to the door of the showers. My dear friend is the airport manager at the airport where WFFC is held. You would not believe how selfish skydivers are and how much they destroy. It embarrasses the hell out of me to be associated with the skydivers. Hear hear, Mary. I feel so good when Bill invites me over to eat with him, his wife, and a few special guests. Then I see what he has to deal with.... It really, really makes me sad. It's one of the reason that this year, even though I stepped back from grounds, I was never really "off duty." I an vouch for Rose/Mary personally. Rose goes out of her way to hide to go poop, and Mary goes out of her way to still pick it up! Mike and Renee I can vouch for as people. They are both the tops when it comes to being animal lovers and responsible pet owners. I'm sure, without a doubt, that they both clean up after their masters. There were a few that didn't though. I know who they were, and if it happens next year, I'll personally clean up after those pets. Really. I'm not telling where those droppings will be placed though. Consider this your warning, and you know who you are... Chuck, yes, the parties this year were kick ass, if you knew where to look, unlike Bolas. 10 nights, none in bed before 2:45, 2 not until after 6, and once I never did make it to my room. I'm trying to find it listed somewhere. I picked mine up in a truckstop when I was driving. (In fact, it was at the I80 truckstop in Walcott, Iowa.)
