Who did you have a crush on when you were a kid?
RevJim replied to Girlfalldown's topic in The Bonfire
Linda Lovelace, Traci Lords, and Marilyn Chambers. (I found my Dad's stash at an early age, and never looked at women the same again. Woo Hoo!) It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1 -

I def. wouldn't mind seeing Pat Green. had the chance a few years ago in Ft. Worth before he got big and didn't go... *stupid* He's always been big (In Texas ). I 'discovered' him through a friend that lives and works in Houston. I visited her every time I was in town, and she got me hooked on "Three Days" and "Crazy" (my favorite). Wierd, cause I think "Wave on Wave" is not one of his better works, yet it's the one that finally got him the spotlight. It's your life, live it! I really am Irish, not just for a day. Well, ok, 1/4 Irish. Up here, a neighbor town, New London, actually changes their name for a week to New Dublin. Pub crawls, beer, parades, beer, corned beef and cabbage, and beer. It's a kick ass time. Did I mention we drink alot of beer? It's your life, live it! Simple solution - don't jump in high winds. Got me there, Lisa. I was going to change my post to say that, but figured I'd just leave it, in case someone jumped into a landing area that had winds change after takeoff. Don't jump in high winds, if you can avoid it. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

How many hours do you have in a Little Bird? So if I pick up a job driving the truck, will you be my escort? I can pay in sheep! I was gonna offer to pay in rolling rock. I am a truck driver, and contemplated going over.... I have no real fear of death, but no death wish either. If I didn't have kids, I'd go. They depend on me though, so here I shall stay. Well, to this day I've only had one auction that didn't hit my reserve. My old rig. That had a low reserve (for a rig), and it got within $100 of the price. I held onto it instead, and ended up trading it for a different rig. I have learned that reserve price auctions do not deter serious bidders. They still know their max bid, and if it's not my minimum, no big deal. What I happen to like about the reserve price auctions is when you put in your max bid, if it is at least my reserve price, it automatically bids the reserve. If not, it stays low. I have bought items from reserve auctions that were not met. I sniped, I admit. They sold anyway. I would too, but my reserve is just my investment. I sell for profit, not loss. Someone meeting my reserve and not going any higher is ok, since I broke even, and that's alright with me. It's your life, live it! Holy shit, Mar. What can I say? Not much really, but here: {{{Hug}}}

As a buyer, I agree with you, but I see both sides. As a seller, I am of course trying to get the best price I can. This is why I personally hate sniping programs. Feel free to use them though. They are the very reason I almost always list as a reserve price auction. You may be able to snipe really low, but if it's below my reserve, nice waste of listing fees, but I'm not losing valuable property. If it's something I picked up for nothing, or close to it, I'll start it at 99 cents with no reserve. If I'm invested in the item, I'll still start at 99 cents, but you can bet there will be a reserve on it. My user name on ebay is iskydiveto. Lovin' my 100% positive feedback. Me too and me too. I also had Rubik's wolrd and Rubik's Revenge. Most got lost over the years of moving, but I still have a couple of the originals. Teaching my Calculas teacher in High school how to solve one earned me an A for a semester. Gotta love that little cube! It's your life, live it!
