For me; C-130 Everytime I hear that designation, all that pops into my head is this beautiful white and red bird with the 4 blade props. Climbing inside. Sitting down. Strapping in. Taking off (god the feel of sheer power as it lumbers down the runway...) Climbing to altitude. Takeoff, look down, a grand. WOW! Look down again, 750. Again, 500.... WTF? Hearing the distinct sound of rotorblades. Seeing Rod in his 412 behind us. Seeing Rod so close to us that we could see the reflection of his rotors in the door. Fleahop playing around behind in the Pitts. Don showing off in the L-39, then climbing back from 250' to . Being the last out of the first pass (#55), Flipping to my belly, and getting blasted straight down at the same moment I realized that Don was still there in the L-39, tucked unbelievably close up and under the right wing of that magnificent bird. Rantoul '02 will always hold a special place in my heart. (Besides, that was the only part of the boogie DVD I made it on to....) It's your life, live it! Hey Babe. Happy happy! Just a quick note to say that yep, the 30's are better. At least they are for me (so far). I graduated HS 15 years ago, and I feel as though I'm just now finally hitting my stride. Life actually sucks pretty hard right now, but i'll be damn if I can muster up a bad feeling about it! Wierd! You know that is a comment that you should have saved until AFTER you got your rig! Luckily we, as decent human beings, have 2 things in common. The ability to take a joke, and trust. Though I must admit I was a little worried about that first jump on that rig.....

I added my thoughts on garbage, though in the end I'll just do what Don says.... I must say I agree with the porta pottys though. I can't comment on last year, as I was only there the final weekend, but I can comment on '02 and '04. '02 had quite a few more porta's than '04, and they were in better locations. They were not cleaned nearly enough though. '04 had portas that seemed to be always clean, at least the ones I found. Yes, they were hard to find. In '05 we need more, and they NEED to be better located. Can anyone tell me why it took so long to get them by manifest? And those were just moved from the gold cart area, they weren't new. Food tent/entertainment area? There were 2 practically hidden (VERY hidden in the dark) on the corner of Front and Main streets. The sun goes down and you get hundreds of people eating. Where do they go to 'relieve themselves'? 2 johns that once it got dark you couldn't even see? LO tent area. I saw ONE. 'nuff said. Packing areas. Suck it up and get a big tent, put it on the end of the LO tents (closest to manifest if you want 'em to spend more money on jump tix), and label it "Free Packing Tent".
