Oh, in that case, please re-read weegegirl's post above. Isn't there someone you knoiw that has W2k? All you need is the CD, as that is the boot disk. That depends. Just what do you consider a decent living wage? What did your father consider a decent living wage? What about his grandfather? People yell, bitch, and moan that WalMart is (at its core) anti-union. Well, so am I. I recognize the previous needs for unions (sweat shops, 90 hour work weeks, ect.), but really, what are they used for (in the majority) today? Getting jobs? No, that's what internships are for. Benefits? No, many private employers and even states have better benefits. Driving wages to an artificial high? You betcha. If all the UAW members made a normal "national average" wage, how much do you think the price of a new american made vehicle would decline? Quite a bit, I would imagine. Will it happen? Nope. Joe Blow is quite content to make $30 an hour to turn 2 bolts every 30 minutes, while his cousin John Blow likes making $35 an hour to push a broom (it seems he got carpal tunnel from turning too many bolts per hour, resulting in a strike, a workload shift, a permanent production line slowdown, and a raise). Where else can you expect to get paid more for doing less? I say if you don't like WalMart, unionize it. In a matter of a few short years it will resemble a great portion of america today; underworked, overpaid, and lazy. Nothing to be sorry about at all, my HERO brother! I found that using a touchpad on a laptop makes it, um, interesting to complete. I knew them all, but wasn't fast enough the first time. I've heard alot of good about the +R's compatibility, but even they sometimes fail. Luckily the burner in this laptop is a +/-, so I can just pick a good media and burn away. Internal drives for towers can be found in the +/- format, and the prices are comparable to the single format drives. Look around. It's your life, live it! Thanks! Actually, I got it for school, but made sure it was strong enough for video too. I'm also planning on an external firwire HDD to be used exclusively for video editing. Basically once an edit it done and burned/tested/uploaded ect, I'll format the disk and prepare for the next vid. Any suggestions on a good one of those too? It's your life, live it! Ahhh, yes. I know that site. Means very little to a family that lives at or quite a bit under the national poverty level. All that matters to those, at that time, is low prices.
