  4. Some time ago, I began a mini-quest. To get a closing pin necklace I could wear for more than a day or 2. The battle has been long and hard, but has finally been won. The Story: I have very sensitive skin. I've gone through allergy tests and according to those, I have no allergies, but cheap metal has harsh reactions with the oils on my skin. Gold plated was good for a bit, as well and other plated metals. The problem was, a few showers and the plating was gone in spots, resulting in pot metals contacting my skin. Even worse would be a slight scratch from just using the clasp and BAM, instant reaction. Over time I have managed to figure out the ONLY time I don't get reations is when all the related metals in the jewlery are 14k gold or higher, Sterling Silver, or a high grade of stainless. NOBODY I found carried this for closing pin necklaces. I even asked a few what it would take. They said they would check it out and let me know, never to be heard from again. This time soneone stepped up to the plate, and delivered with a serious home run! I love my new necklace! It's been on since I got it, been through numerous showers, a few baths, 2 hot tubs, and a pool, with no reactions. all it took was a Sterling Silver clasp and a Sterling Silver loop to hang the closing pin from. Those 2 pieces were difficult to find I'm sure, and probably quite a bit more expensive in the cost to manufacture department. Anyway, Thank you Michael. I love it! If anyone else is looking for top quality products with above top notch service, talk to Michael. Here's the website too, for all that might wonder. Worth every penny! Thanks man! 8. Memories.... Waking up early the final Sunday for my balloon jump, arriving at the launch area (now a smoldering pile of ashes and couch springs) and finding a couple of Monkeys still hanging. Good to see you and Chucky hanging on to what little conciousness was left, Lisa! It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

  11. Hey April! Nice to be back! Anyway, Rantoul ROCKED! Granted I only got a handful of jumps, but the last one made up for it. (Balloon Bird-Man). Story and video at a later date.... I worked my ass off the entire time I was there and ya know what? I loved every minute of it. I'm already counting down the days till next year's WFFC! It's your life, live it! 13. Yep, its on video! Larry didn't have anything to do with it, but hey if Airspeed hosed you guys try being pro-active. LOL Airspeed does have email and maybe folks should let them hear what they have to say , both good, bad and indifferent www.airspeed.org Proactive? heh, the Skyvan bit Larry while bording, so I figure he was just trying to get even. LOL Glad to see his new shoulder is working out. That was his first jump in like a year and a half (according to him) and he got to bleed all the way to altitude. LOL It's your life, live it! 14. Grrrrr. Party till 1 or 2 a.m. Get up by 7. Haul trash till 1 or 2 p.m. Eat, rest, and/or get a single jump in. Haul trash again, around 5. Eat (maybe) Party till 1 or 2 a.m. Repeat. I tried man. Really, I did. More cans next year, sure, but I'm NOT working all day. Late pickup is gonna get pushed back to dusk too, so I can get more than one hand's worth of jumps in. 15. You know, I really doubt that SDC had anything to do with this either, but am I the only one who thinks it odd that DEA agents were dispatched to SDC long before the plane arrived, and that no-one noticed them until after the planes arrived? 16. Seeing as how there are 3 jump runs and aircraft running 2 minutes apart do you really believe go arounds are safe? I'd rather walk five miles than crawl five feet. Having another group dropped on top of me isnt my idea of a good time. I'd like Larry and Airspeed to take less than 36 seconds from green light to exit. Talk about hosing an entire skyvan load. 17. LOL Yeah! What they said! I used to hate the taste of beer when I first started drinking it but that all changed once I realized Coors light isn't real beer. Once I made a few batches of it I learned how to appreciate it. Same thing with wine. Now after being in the wine business for 12 years I've learned somthing more... it takes a lot of beer to make good wine. To be totally honest with ya I can't stand the taste of most hard alcohol by itself.. except for fine tequila. Last night I managed to have a glass and a half of some really good Argentinian Malbec before sleep got the better of me. LOL, nice! Looking forward to seeing this drinking prowness.... Drink Scotch with Mr. Kirlin for a night (he knows really, REALLY good scotch), and the relaxed, party to have fun, not get blasted thing actually feels pretty good. For partying with Chuckie though, I need to grab a bottle of cheaper stuff.... It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1
